Last week, I told you that ABC had canceled "Day Break," its addictive serial drama starring Taye Diggs, after just six episodes. A few of you mentioned you'd also gotten caught up in the story of Detective Brett Hopper, so here's good news: ABC plans to show the rest of the episodes online.
From what I can gather, the plan is for the network to add an episode to its video player every Wednesday at 9 p.m., starting tonight.

Those few of us who have been watching the Taye Diggs crime drama "Day Break" might never get to find out why Detective Brett Hopper was stuck living the same day over and over again. ABC announced today that it's canceled the show, effective immediately.
Granted, the announcement isn't a huge surprise.

The film version of this Fall's sequel to Twilight isn't all fans have been rabidly anticipating — the New Moon soundtrack picked up enough steam to be released today instead of next Tuesday. It's no wonder it was rushed out; Death Cab for Cutie's video for "Meet Me on the Equinox", premiered to much fanfare, as did the tracklist, revealed barely a month ago.
The wait is over, and you can go buy the disc, download it, or stream the soundtrack on MySpace for free today.

Seattle Grace has been invaded, and this time it's with new doctors in addition to fresh patients and injuries. It doesn't take very long for the surgeons to butt heads with the Mercy West newbies — in fact, Izzie is ready to throw down after one of the doctors takes George's locker in the locker room. Eventually, Izzie is the only one who warms up to the Mercy Westers, only to get burned first by a new friend and then by the chief.

The cat's outta the bag on this week's episode of The Vampire Diaries, but Elena isn't the only one who has a rude awakening. We also get to see the history on the lives of Stefan, Damon, and Katherine in the 1860s — and the story behind those olden-day photos.
As usual, I've picked the moments from this episode that stand out as the good, the bad, and the bloody, so to see them just (spoilers ahead!) read more

Tonight, Christian Troy and Sean McNamara are back for the sixth and final season of Nip/Tuck. I was hooked on the jaw-dropping, soapy series back in the day, but had to break up with the show when the ick factor became more than I could bear.
Admittedly, I've spent some time catching up on episodes past because I'm still kinda interested in what became of the characters and the over-the-top story lines.

This week's episode of FlashForward isn't exactly action-packed, but we do finally meet a few significant others — including Demetri's fiancee, Zoe — and get a bit more character insight and some clues about the blackout. Not to mention the introduction of one creepy former Nazi.
It wasn't my favorite of the first three episodes, but this show is still keeping me on the edge of my seat.

In his Hollywood directorial debut, Ricky Gervais takes us to an alternate universe where honesty makes the world go round. It's not just that lie-telling is an impossibility; everyone can't help but speak their minds at all times, no matter how personal, embarrassing, or brutal their innermost thoughts may be. The premise of The Invention of Lying is rife for comedy, but the film is also a commentary on religion and has its sad moments as well.
