Word is that ABC is close to finalizing a deal to bring another version of Charlie's Angels to TV.
This new series would be a "modern version" of the '70s hit, and yes, I know you're thinking that we already got a modern version with the 2000 movie Charlie's Angels and its sequel. Interestingly, Drew Barrymore is involved in this new series somehow (I'm guessing production), as is Leonard Goldberg who produced the original series.

For this week's Recast challenge, I asked you guys to pick all-new actresses for a TV show that was recently made into a movie: "Charlie's Angels." It's such a fun series that it could definitely stand to be recast again.
If you were recasting "Charlie's Angel's" today, what kickass, sassy women would you put in the three main roles?

The 36th annual People's Choice Awards nominees are here, and last year's Twilight is leading the charge! American Idol's Kris Allen was among the announcers this morning for the nominees, which also include lots of nods for The Proposal — but of course, everyone's favorite bloodsucking love story landed in many categories, including favorite on-screen movie team.
Why didn't they look to 2009's New Moon?
