Peyton List has come a long way since her comedic turn in Disney Channel's "Jessie." Whether it's performing action-packed stunts as Tory Nichols in "Cobra Kai" or starring in "School Spirits," an upcoming drama series on Paramount+, List is passionate about expanding her craft as an actor.

"I was used to the whole Disney world, but ["Cobra Kai"] just opened up my world so much, being able to do all the stunts and fight choreography," she tells POPSUGAR. "I never thought I would learn martial arts in my life." She describes her experience filming "School Spirits" as an emotional ride that unlocked a new side of her. "It deals with a lot of topics that were heavier than I'm used to working with, but I really enjoyed it. I found it therapeutic to be able to bawl my eyes out at work or in a scene," she says.

From fight scenes to emotion-filled takes, List needs to be at the top of her game while filming; she doesn't want to deal with the hassle of wearing glasses or contact lenses. That's why she decided to get the EVO lens vision-correcting procedure, which uses an FDA-approved implantable lens designed to fix distance vision problems or nearsightedness. The small flexible lens works in conjunction with your eyes to deliver sharp, clear vision day and night without causing dry-eye syndrome.

"I'm seeing life so much better," she says while reassuring us the procedure had minimal downtime and discomfort. "It wasn't painful at all, and I could immediately see without anything in my eyes. It was the first time that I had looked in the mirror and really seen my eyes, because I'd always had glasses on or contacts." Referring to the procedure as "life changing," she says that "being able to see clearly affects everything." "I'm always doing stunts on 'Cobra Kai,' and when we have to do fight sequences, I feel like my peripheral was a little messed up, and this [procedure] just makes it so much clearer."

Beyond discussing her upcoming projects and her enthusiasm for the EVO lens procedure, which Joe Jonas has gotten done as well, List lets us in on her current product obsessions. From Saje's soothing Peppermint Halo roll-on oil to a timeless Chanel crossbody bag, keep reading for List's must-have picks.

Peyton List's Affordable Must Have: Calvin Klein Modern Cotton Unlined Bralette

List prioritizes comfort, and the Calvin Klein Modern Cotton Unlined Bralette ($17, originally $30) is her everyday go-to. "I just like something simple that is comfy and does not have any padding," List explains. She prefers classic colors like black and gray. "I'll wear it underneath anything and everything," she says. "I even like wearing it when I'm working, because at least I'm comfortable underneath whatever it is that my costume is." When she's not on set, she usually opts for a casual look, like a T-shirt, Levi's, and sneakers.

Pro Tip: If you're looking for something that provides more coverage or a relaxed fit, it's best to size up.

Peyton List's Investment Must Have: Chanel Small Camera Case

A Chanel handbag is a timeless piece, and List's current favorite is the Chanel Small Camera Case ($4,400) in lambskin with viscose weaving and gold-tone metal. It makes her feel put-together no matter how casual her look is, and she likes that the small size limits the number of unnecessary items she carries. "I feel like it's a little statement piece, and I love the color," she says. "I usually keep things pretty simple and minimal, so it would stand out."

Pro Tip: Although this bag is small, it can fit the essentials. List stores lip gloss, a powder, a wallet, keys, and a few other items in this crossbody. Since this is an investment piece, we suggest opting for a neutral colorway so that it can pair well with almost anything in your closet.

Peyton List's Morning-Routine Must Have: Pley Beauty Lust + Found Lip Gloss

List loves to swipe on the Pley Beauty Lust + Found ($20) lip gloss from her own beauty brand. "It just looks like a fresh wash that makes me look a little bit more awake, which is kind of the goal," she says. List's preferred shade is Carmen, but she also reaches for Ethel for a more everyday color. The Lust + Found lip gloss contains moisturizing ingredients like vitamin E, rose-hip oil, and coconut oil to take the place of lip balm. "It feels hydrating. It's not a tacky, sticky lip gloss," List says. "We created it over COVID, so we were trying to keep in mind of just having to take your mask on and off and not having everything sticking to it."

Pro Tip: This lip gloss provides a sheer color that shines all by itself, or it can be paired with lipstick for a dynamic look.

Peyton List's Sleep Must Have: Saje Peppermint Halo Roll-On Oil

List typically uses essential oils in her daily routine, and the Saje Peppermint Halo ($28) roll-on oil is a must right before bedtime. In fact, she even travels with it. "It's one of my favorite things in this small little bottle," she says. "I love a eucalyptus towel or anything minty and clean and fresh." She puts this peppermint oil on her temples and along her forehead for an "icy-hot cooling sensation" that's perfect for treating headaches. It also happens to be a POPSUGAR editor favorite — read our review of the Saje Peppermint Halo roll-on oil.

Pro Tip: List's former makeup artist taught her to strategically place the essential oils. "She started just waving it under my nose in the morning to wake me up, and she would roll it on my temples," the actor says. "After a lunch touch-up, she would also put it on, and she'd put it on the back of my neck and it was just the best feeling."

List describes Adidas Samba Classics ($75) as "the perfect everyday shoe." She raves about how they're comfortable and easy to break in. The unisex sneakers also come in timeless colorways, like white and black.
