Hola papacito! Jason Derulo opened the 2019 Latin American Music Awards last night with a very sexy performance of his hit "Mamacita" alongside Farruko. Jason brought his best moves and his best Spanish pronunciation, and I'm happy to announce "Qué lo qué mami?" in your best Derulo voice is the new "How you doin'?" — sorry not sorry Friends fans.

If you're like me and have always been captivated by Jason, you know that he's the son of Haitian parents, which explains why he fit in so well at last night's award show. He has that Caribbean heat coming out of him, and I think we can all agree that we felt it after his performance. I personally can't get over his hip moves and pasitos de salsa. Where do I start a petition to get Jason Derulo to do a whole salsa routine? No, for real. I think we all need that in our lives.

Farruko also brought his A game, nailing his rap and really hyping up the audience — and even showing his sensual side — completing a fabulous performance that set the tone for an amazing night celebrating the best of Latin music.
