Brad Pitt was in NYC last night for a screening of Killing Them Softly. Along with his costars James Gandolfini and Ray Liotta, Brad posed for photos on the red carpet at a special Cinema Society event. A handful of famous ladies came out to see Brad's latest, including Rose Byrne, Maggie Grace, model Anne V, Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter, and The Good Wife's Archie Panjabi. Killing Them Softly arrives in theaters this Friday, Nov. 30, and Brad's done a handful of interviews in the run-up to its release. He spoke to Extra about both his film and his engagement to Angelina Jolie. He said, "I will admit we have had some pressure from our kids. We didn't realize how much it means to them . . . we didn't realize how much it means to us." As for the place and time, Brad commented, "We are both migratory workers and it will be a matter of convenience location wise."
The holidays are right around the corner, and it's always a fun time to break out your favorite statement-making hair accessory. A handful of celebrities are already jumping on the bandwagon. Christina Hendricks sported a sparkly black floral accent in her hair, while Ashley Madekwe wore a cluster of silver stars. And Rose Byrne amped up her hairstyle with a classy black-and-white hairpiece. The possibilites are endless when it comes to decorating your strands, but who do you think wore the accessory best?
Rose Byrne gave a lesson in accessorizing pairing a black ruffled Converse One Star skirt ($25) with a leopard-print belt and bright red clutch at a Target party in NYC. The actress cinched her peppered black sweater and flirty mini with a wild leopard belt, then completed her monochromatic look with a pair of black suede Sergio Rossi pumps and red leather clutch for a pop of flair. Take a cue from Rose and work a signature leopard and red duo with your black-on-black ensembles or step outside the box with this zebra LOFT belt ($35, originally $40) and this cobalt Cole Haan clutch ($68) for an unexpected twist.
Kristen Bell stepped out to premiere her short film for Target, Falling For You, at Terminal 5 in NYC last night. Kristen had the support of Anna Kendrick on the red carpet, and the pair chatted and laughed their way into the party. Rose Byrne, AnnaSophia Robb, and Nia Long also stepped out for the bash. Kristen stars in the Target movie, which was directed by Mad Men's Phil Abraham, and she actually premiered the piece with the help of fiancé Dax Shepard last week in LA. Anna, meanwhile, is coming off of her own promotional tour for her latest box office hit, Pitch Perfect, which hit the big screen last Friday.

Last night at Cosmo's Fun and Fearless Awards at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City, we caught up with Rose Byrne, who told us how she chose her Vivienne Westwood Oscars dress, how her bangs have influenced her style, and why she loves Kate Moss. Watch our video to see the lovely Aussie — this time in Chanel! — tell all.
Cosmopolitan magazine played hosted last night for their annual Fun and Fearless Awards at NYC's Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The year's big honorees were Dakota Fanning, in Miu Miu, and Paul Rudd, who earned the female and male titles, respectively. Additional honors went to The Hunger Games hunk Liam Hemsworth, Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams, 21 Jump Street's Jonah Hill, a YSL-clad Freida Pinto, NFL star Adrian Peterson, Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale, and a Chanel-wearing Rose Byrne. Both Jonah and Liam wore Ermenegildo Zegna.
We caught a moment with Liam on the red carpet, where he opened up about his big Hunger Games press tour. He spoke about the devoted fans of the series he's encountered so far, saying, "We had our first mall event the other day, and there were lots of screaming fans, and a few teary-eyed fans, which was interesting. Very nice and very flattering to see people that passionate about it." Dakota told us she's not familiar with Liam's franchise, but she's excited to see the film. As for a daring thing she's done lately, Dakota said, "Probably starting my Spring semester at college. That was probably the most fearless thing!" Make sure to check back later today for video of our interviews with Liam, Dakota, and the other attendees on PopSugar Rush.
We can always count on Rose Byrne to look stunningly fashion forward on the red carpet, like she did in Vivienne Westwood at last night's Oscars. And we can thank her stylist Penny Lovell for helping her find all those amazing dresses. So first things first, how did the lookalike duo meet? "It sounds very glamorous, but we met at a Dior Beauty dinner at the Chateau Marmont," Penny — who's worked in beauty and fashion PR, as well as editorial styling — shared. "We sat opposite each other and had a good laugh. We didn't really talk about fashion, but later we discovered we have very similar sensibilities." Penny agrees that Rose loves to take fashion risks: "She is very relaxed and pretty fearless in her dressing. She loved wearing a jumpsuit to an award show for example." Of course, the jumpsuit Penny is referring to is the Elie Saab Rose wore to the 2012 SAGs.

There were lots of brilliant hues on the SAG Awards carpet yesterday evening, but the classic black and white gowns were what caught our attention. Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone were just a few of the ladies donning black for the evening, while Zoe Saldana, Rose Byrne, and Viola Davis nailed it in gorgeous white ensembles.
