The fun continued following last night's MTV Movie Awards with an afterparty at LA's Soho House. The event's host, Jason Sudeikis, mingled with new couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, who were spotted getting close and kissing at the bash. Emma Watson was quite the social butterfly after showing a new clip from Harry Potter at the ceremony. She chatted with Bad Teacher star Cameron Diaz before moving on for conversations with Jamie King, Lily Collins, Taylor Lautner, Emma Stone, and Andrew Garfield. Despite rumors, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez haven't broken up, since he was there to hang out with her and they were spotted heading home hand in hand. Chace Crawford had a guys' night with his Gossip Girl buddy Sebastian Stan, who managed to steer clear of his ex Leighton Meester. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart also swung by the Soho House, but they managed to evade photographers as they cuddled in a corner.
Cool Idea: Stage Your Own Album Cover
Last night, I was lucky enough to score a comp ticket from a photographer friend to the sold-out Joanna Newsom concert. The singer was wearing fabulous stacked white heels and a side cutout plaid full-length dress (which somehow looked amazing on her) at the show, and it made me think about her fantastic, over-the-top sense of style. This design sense extends beyond her wardrobe to her home in Nevada City, CA, which is where she staged the photo for her latest album, Have One on Me.

For the photo, according to the New York Times article, Newsom
dragged many of her belongings into her living room — a stuffed peacock, a leopard-print ottoman, tchotchkes and clothes and rugs and partitions — and arranged them on and around her couch, which sits in front of a wall-hung 18th-century tapestry.
This description of Newsom's fabulous home furnishings made me wonder if I have enough interesting objects in my home to stage a similar album cover. I'm pretty sure my cover would be more homespun, with quilts, nature objects, and stacks of books substituting for Newsom's stuffed peacock and numerous partitions. What would you grab from your home to stage your own album cover?

What to Download: New Music This Week
It's Tuesday, which means I've got lots of entertainment-related goodies to share with you. This morning I gave you some advice on what to add to your Netflix queues, and now it's time to make your ears happy with three new music releases.
Thrice as nice: Clocking in at over two hours and spanning over three discs, Joanna Newsom's Have One on Me isn't just an album — it's an undertaking. Newsom has her harp and a few other instruments backing her up, but it's her beautiful vocals that are on display here. Her angelic and often bluesy voice spills out equally gorgeous lyrics, and overall the album is the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing evening in your bathtub. It's hard to pick out a single tune on an album of such epic proportions, but you might want to try "Easy," or the soulful "Baby Birch."
Overseas invasion: You've probably heard the Australian Daniel Merriweather croon on Mark Ronson's version of "Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before," but on his debut Love & War, he proves he has the goods (and the falsetto) to stand on his own — well, with a little help. Ronson lends a hand on "Change" featuring Wale, and Adele chimes in for the ballad "Water and a Flame." Both tracks are worth downloading, but I'm also loving the Motown sound of "Impossible." Like any R&B singer, Merriweather touches on relationships and their demise, but the variety of sounds (and his rich voice) keep the old themes feeling fresh. Amy Winehouse, meet your cleaner, male counterpart.
