Liam Hemsworth and several of his costars from The Hunger Games traveled to Atlanta, GA, for the latest stop on their mall tour yesterday. Liam stopped by Lenox Square to greet some of the franchise's fans along with Dayo Okeniyi, Jack Quaid, Amandla Stenberg, and Leven Rambin, who play Tributes Thresh, Marvel, Rue, and Glimmer, respectively. It was the latest public event for Liam as the countdown to The Hunger Games' March 23 release continues. Last weekend, he was in Beverly Hills for the junket, then jetted to NYC for Monday night's Cosmopolitan Fun and Fearless Awards, where he was honored along with other stars including Dakota Fanning and Jonah Hill. He'll make his return to the West Coast shortly, however, as he gears up for next week's big LA premiere of the movie. We'll be on the scene bringing you all the red-carpet highlights live, so be sure to stay tuned to PopSugar this coming Monday.
Ready for more Hunger Games casting news? Newcomer Willow Shields will play Prim Everdeen, Katniss's little sister. Prim, also known as Primrose, has a significant role in the stories, since she's the original person selected to compete in the Hunger Games, but is saved from entering when her sister Katniss takes her place.
I like that the casting of the movie is keeping me guessing — while there are some well-known actors like Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss and Elizabeth Banks as Effie, plenty of unknowns like Shields are being added too. To boot, more tributes have also been cast — Leven Rambin and Jack Quaid will play Glimmer and Marvel.
