Bree Turner stopped by our Los Angeles studio to give us some of the details on the upcoming season finale of Grimm. Plus, she talks about having the whole cast come to her house for the big cast party.
Bitsie Tulloch on Grimm's Zombie-Filled Finale and a Serious Cliffhanger
Grimm star Bitsie Tulloch stopped by our LA studios to give us some intel into the upcoming season finale of the supernatural drama. Hint: there will be zombies! Bitsie also chatted with us about the cast's close-knit living quarters in Portland, where the show shoots, and the finale's big cliffhanger. Apparently, one of the main characters' fates will remain uncertain until the show returns for a third season. Catch Grimm tonight at 10/9 Central.
NBC Renews Parenthood and a Few Other Dramas
If you're a fan of Parenthood, Revolution, Chicago Fire, Grimm, and/or Law & Order: SVU, then today's your lucky day — NBC has just renewed all of those shows for new seasons! Returning series Grimm and SVU were pretty much a lock, but Parenthood has always been a bubble show, so I'm particularly excited to see the Braverman crew return for a fifth season. To find out the current status of all your favorite shows, check out our slideshow of this year's cancellations and renewals.

David Giuntoli on Grimm's Return, Nick's Love Triangle, and One Direction
Grimm is back! After a four-month hiatus, the addictive thriller returns tonight and is more action packed than ever. We recently welcomed David Giuntoli, who plays the vengeance-seeking Nick Burkhardt, to our LA studios. The show left off back in November with Nick in the middle of a bitter love triangle between his fiancée, Juliette, and his boss, Captain Renard, and, according to David, things are only getting more heated between the two. Watch to hear about Nick and Renard's intense fight scene, find out what's going on with Nick's mom, and get an update on Rosalee and Monroe's relationship. Plus, find out why David's trailer was covered in One Direction posters. Grimm returns tonight on NBC. On Allison: Sea dress, Luv AJ jewelry.
Grimm Gets Renewed For a Second Season
Great news for those of you who've been eating up the fairy-tale-themed procedural Grimm: the show has been picked up for a second season. The series has done well in the ratings on Friday nights, and it's one of the few freshman shows on NBC that's been successful. Have you been watching? Are you happy to hear that you have another year of storybook mysteries to look forward to?

Grimm Gets Picked Up For a Full Season
There's good news for fans of crime procedurals with a twist: NBC has picked up freshman series Grimm for a full season. The show, which stars David Giuntoli as a detective who is a descendant of the brothers Grimm, has fared well in its Friday night time slot, beating out lead-in Chuck in ratings. NBC will air a special episode of Grimm on Thursday, December 8 at 10 p.m. to test the fantasy series out in a new time slot, so it remains to be seen whether the network will keep the show at its regularly scheduled Friday night time slot following its full season pick-up. Have you been you watching the new series?

Pilot Scoop: Grimm
Most of Fall TV's new shows have already bowed, but tonight brings some more fresh meat with the spooky NBC drama Grimm. It's one of two Fall shows that has a heavy fairy-tale theme (the other is ABC's Once Upon a Time).
- What it's about: The life of a soon-to-be engaged homicide detective turns upside down when he starts seeing horrific visions. Nick (David Giuntoli) learns that his hallucinations of ordinary people morphing into monsters aren't hallucinations at all — they're an inheritance. As it turns out, Nick is one of the last living members of the Grimm family, and those fairy tales are actually true. Now that Nick has the power to sniff out the evil that's lurking inside certain criminals, he has an edge at work, but his life is in danger.
- Where it works: We all know that vampires, werewolves, and the like are so hot right now, and the supernatural twist definitely sets Grimm apart from your typical cop drama. The pilot centers on the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, and if each episode centers on one story, it could make for a fun series.
- Where it doesn't: The premise has a lot of potential, but there's so much supernatural setup to get through that we don't get much character development. Nick seems vanilla at best, and you can't build a must-see series around a forgettable leading man. Plus, as the pilot tries to set up the rest of the series, some of the dialogue discussing the magical elements comes off as forced and silly.
- You might like this show if: You favor the creepier side of supernatural series (like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Vampire Diaries) over the love story side.
- When is it on? Fridays at 9 p.m. on NBC
