Isla and Hugh Take Their Confessions Overseas
Isla Fisher and her newly engaged costar Hugh Dancy posed together at the Confessions of a Shopaholic premiere last night in London before Isla headed to BBC Radio 1 this morning. Sacha Baron Cohen skipped the red carpet festivities again, but was close by to meet up for the after party. Isla looked great in her sparkling LBD yet her on-screen counterpart, Becky Bloomwood would have opted for something more colorful with her envy inducing wardrobe. We saw and loved the movie this weekend and although it wasn't a top spot at the box office, hopefully it will pick up momentum and do well overseas.

Take the QuizI Want This Wardrobe: Confessions of a Shopaholic, Rebecca Bloomwood
I wasn't messing around when I said Rebecca Bloomwood loves color. But besides color, she also has a thing for layering. Just look — this outfit starts off with a black and white Vicki Tiel dress, followed by a black Givenchy eyelet jacket, cinched with a yellow belt. Yellow Christian Louboutin pumps, yellow leather gloves, red sunnies, and a kelly green metallic Nila Anthony bag make up her accessories. Let's not forget her Roberto Cavalli horn earrings and Versace gold medallion necklace. And finally, a vintage yellow coat pulls it all together. Phew! Can you tell Rebecca hearts yellow?!
Box Office: Jason's Back as Audiences Make Him No. 1

The economy may be on shaky ground but you wouldn't know it by looking at the box office totals from this weekend. The Friday the 13th remake actually set records and had "the best opening ever for a horror movie in grossing an estimated $42.2 million from 3,105 theaters through Sunday." Meanwhile He's Just Not That Into You exceeded expectations by snagging the No. 2 spot over the weekend, while Liam Neeson's Taken continued to do strong box office business and came in third place. Confessions of a Shopaholic had a disappointing debut at No. 4.
Coraline rounded out the top five while Paul Blart: Mall Cop, at No. 6, became the first original January release to reach $100 million. Dang!
Finally, Clive Owen and Naomi Watts weren't enough star power to save The International from a lackluster debut. The thriller managed seventh place.

Shopaholic Style: Rebecca Bloomwood
Don't call her mellow yellow, because Rebecca Bloomwood is oh-so-loud in this brightly-hued outfit. For this still, Patricia Field styled Miss Bloomwood in a Vicky Tiel dress, a Givenchy blazer, Louboutin pumps, and a Nila Anthony clutch. Shop like pieces for all of these items, plus her exact Cavalli earrings.

I'm Asking: What's Your Soft Addiction?

In discussing the relatability of Confessions of a Shopaholic, screenplay writer Kayla Alpert explained how the books spoke to her.
I think, you know, everybody has a secret addiction, some people’s are more extreme, some people are addicted to online poker, some people are addicted to shopping. A lot of women I know have, you know, soft addictions, I know I’m on Amazon.com a little more than I should be . . ."
I can completely relate to Kayla's comment (shopbop.com, anyone?) and I think labeling these innocent habits as "soft addictions" is pretty brilliant. What's yours?
Shopaholic Style: Rebecca Bloomwood
Isla Fisher's portrayal of Rebecca Bloomwood is dead on: she's funny, she's quirky, she's lovable, just the type of girl you'd want as a best friend. She also has the most covetable clothes. Take, for instance, this plaid Byron Lars dress worn with a super-wide belt, thigh high socks, and Steve Madden pumps; don't you want it? If so, shop a similar outfit now.

Shopaholic Style: Rebecca Bloomwood
For this pivotal scene in Confessions of a Shopaholic, Rebecca Bloomwood makes her television debut. That's why she's wearing the very best: Lanvin.
