Shonda Rhimes Is Teaming Up With Peloton For a Motivational Class Collection

Last month, Peloton announced an unprecedented partnership with Beyoncé, and now they are back with another exciting collaboration. This time, the popular fitness app is joining forces with one of the most influential women in television: Shonda Rhimes.

The prolific TV producer behind Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away With Murder worked with Peloton to create an eight-week class collection around the theme "Year of Yes."

"Year of Yes" is also the name of Rhimes's 2015 memoir and, according to the Peloton Instagram post announcing the collab, the philosophy with which she approaches life.

"While 2020 put a halt on many things in our life, we're kicking off the new year by creating our own 'yes' moments — and we can start with fitness," reads a Peloton blog post.

Designed for Peloton users of varying skill levels, the collection will consist of cycling, walking, running, strength, and meditation classes. They will be led by some of our favorite instructors, like Robin Arzon and Tunde Oyeneyin. Starting on December 14, you can access the first batch of four classes, live or on-demand, with the Peloton app, Bike, Bike+, and Tread+. New classes will roll out each week.

Plus, you can follow along on social media to catch roundtable conversations between Rhimes and the instructors discussing the different themes of each week in the program. Some themes might include the relationship between self-care and activism and "unlocking the unknown," the blog post says.

And the best news? The quick classes are each only 20 minutes long, so you can easily fit them into even the busiest of schedules.
