Shoshanna's Engagement Dress in Girls Is The Only Dress You Need This Summer

"Is it casual and sexy, like something I'd wear on date night, or is it fancy enough for a walk down the aisle?" I asked myself, as soon as I laid eyes on Shoshanna Shapiro's pretty lace engagement dress in the second-to-last episode of Girls. A quick search landed me upon the product page — I could buy this Alexis Miller three-quarter sleeve midi for a cool $583 and wear it, well, everywhere.

The thing about Shoshanna's dress is that it looked just as good styled with an updo in her apartment as it would have at a bridal shower or a rehearsal dinner in a five-star restaurant. It's a touch flirty thanks to the sheer lace overlay, but it's modest too, with a high neck and doily-like trim.
