Karlie Kloss Pulls the Sneakiest Styling Trick at the Met Gala

Boy, is it a good thing Karlie Kloss chose Brandon Maxwell to design her Met Gala dress. Brandon just so happens to be a stylist, so when it came time for the afterparty, he calmly snipped away at the supermodel's cutout gown while she, well, kind of freaked out a bit. But leave it to Karlie to pull off a slashed mini like it was born that way — she walked right out of the hotel with a blazer hanging off her shoulders, holding onto a two-tone clutch, and standing tall in satin T-strap pumps.

Even before Karlie decided to tweak her dress, she arrived on the red carpet in a slightly different look that included a modest, Victorian-inspired cape. One thing's for sure, all three of her varied outfits were masterpieces. Read on to see her transformation throughout the night, along with an Instagram of Brandon Maxwell at work.
