Though Ariana Grande started filming The Voice's finale in a black leather Vivienne Westwood dress, that was only a foreshadow for what was to come when she took the stage with Kid Cudi to perform "Just Look Up." The song is one of the many tracks from Netflix's Don't Look Up movie, which premieres on Dec. 24 and features an all-star cast with cameos from Ariana and Cudi. The single is so powerful that it called for a look more extraordinary in shape and striking in color, and Ariana and her stylist Mimi Cuttrell found that in a voluminous yellow Valentino Haute Couture bow gown from the spring/summer 2019 collection.

The strapless design flowed to the floor underneath her as she performed, keeping her grounded in a moment of stillness — something only a beautiful couture number like this is capable of doing. Styled with black leather elbow-length gloves (perhaps a reference to the outfit she began recording in?), a delicate chain choker, and diamond earrings, Ariana was picturesque, staying true to her signature style, which is big on high-octane glamour, but never without an edgy touch.
