Apparently, Kyle Chandler is still channeling his inner Coach Taylor, much to his kids' chagrin! In an interview for a Dec. 16 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the father of two opened up about how his daughters — 24-year-old Sydney and 18-year-old Sawyer — got tired tired of his Friday Night Lights references real quick.

"When we were shooting that show . . . my daughters at that time were high school and grade school [age] — there's six years' difference between the two of them," said the 55-year-old actor. "And I heard more than a few times: 'Dad, just stop. I saw the episode.'"

While we would have loved to be a fly on the wall for those conversations — Kyle can quote the beloved show all day as far as we're concerned! — his daughters have apparently lost their patience. "Like, when it got to the one [where I said], 'I just want you to know, boys only want three things.' They're like 'Dad, stop.'" Watch until the end to see what Kyle recently bought his wife, Kathryn, for their 25th anniversary and to hear how he used to incorporate their real-life fights into Friday Night Lights.
