Noah Schnapp Stalks Garrett Hedlund in the Eerie Trailer For "The Tutor"

"The Tutor" shows Noah Schnapp as you've never seen him before. In the new movie's trailer, which dropped on March 1, the "Stranger Things" star plays a billionaire's son named Jackson, and he needs a tutor. Garrett Hedlund's character, Ethan, takes the job, where he'll get paid $2,500 a day to help Jackson. However, the wealthy family's many secrets — why are they so rich? — and strange interactions give Ethan an eerie feeling.

Soon, he thinks Jackson is "obsessed" with him. Then Jackson accuses Ethan of assaulting him and leaving deep bruises. But Ethan is sure that Jackson did it to himself and is just screwing with the tutor and his family for some sick reason.

"The Tutor" marks Schnapp's first film appearance since 2020, when he acted in "Hubie Halloween" and "Waiting For Anya." Right now, the actor is gearing up to film the fifth and final season of "Stranger Things." His costar David Harbour confirmed in a March 5 interview with Collider that the new season will begin filming in June.

Season four of the drama had Schnapp's character, Will, come out as gay to his brother, Jonathan (Charlie Heaton). This January, Schnapp also came out, in a TikTok video. "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know,'" he wrote.

Elsewhere, Hedlund joined the cast of Paramount+'s mafia series "Tulsa King" in 2022; the show has been renewed for a second season. His other new movie "The Marsh King's Daughter," also starring Daisy Ridley, is expected to premiere this year.
