The OG Cast of Saved by the Bell Gave the Theme Song a Makeover — and Nailed It

After being re-recorded by Lil Yachty for the Saved by the Bell reboot on Peacock, the original show's theme is having one stellar 2020. If Lil Yachty's version wasn't quite your thing, this remix from Jimmy Fallon, the Roots, and the OG cast of Saved by the Bell—including Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, and Elizabeth Berkley Lauren—on The Tonight Show might be more your speed. With graphics straight out of the early '90s and a few "exciting" nods to the show, the group stayed true to the essence of the song while adding in some of their own unique flair. We're not sure what we love more, Lopez's rapping or Gosselaar's sweet guitar skills. Check out the full video above for a short dose of nostalgia.
