A Rundown of All the Key Players in "Power Book IV: Force"

Watch out! This post contains spoilers.

After more than a year of waiting, "Power Book IV: Force" is finally back for season two. The fourth installment of the wildly popular "Power" franchise follows the story of Joseph Sikora's cutthroat character, Tommy Egan, as he leaves behind his New York City past to embark on an action-packed mission to become Chicago's biggest drug dealer. Season one of the series, which concluded in April 2022, ended with a deadly shootout, so of course, Tommy is out for blood and revenge in season two, where he'll encounter some new faces and foes.

According to Sikora's May interview with POPSUGAR, season two, which kicks off on Sept. 1, is "going back to the roots of 'Power,'" meaning, "we're hitting the streets hard." And per "Power Book IV"'s synopsis, a street war is brewing with new crews and law enforcement is cracking down, so there will be plenty of action to follow this season and new characters to get acquainted with.

"Power Book IV" continues the drama after "Power"'s sixth and final season, as well as "Power Book II: Ghost"'s season one finale. Though Tommy may be one of the only familiar faces to appear in the show, the rest of the "Power Book IV" cast are as eager as ever to carry on the franchise's legacy.

"We're all huge 'Power' fans," Gabrielle Ryan (who plays Gloria) previously told POPSUGAR. "What 50 Cent and Courtney Kemp have created with the 'Power' Universe is just incredible, and it's this cultural phenomenon that I think we're all just so thrilled to be a part of."

"Power Book IV" is full of talented actors and interesting characters aiding Tommy's story, so read ahead to get better acquainted with them all.

He causes quite the stir among his drug competitors in season one, and viewers expect nothing less in season two.

Isaac Keys as Diamond
Starz

Isaac Keys as Diamond

Keys portrays gentle giant Diamond, who was fresh out of prison in season one after serving a 15-year sentence. Before getting locked up, Diamond was one of the leaders of Chicago's most promising crew, CBI, that was just taking over the city. After spending time on the inside reading and educating himself on everything from history to philosophy, he tried to take back control of his organization from his younger brother, Jenard. However, that only led to a split in CBI and a strained relationship between the two brothers by the end of season one. Their intense beef will surely be a driving force for drama in season two.

He rules with an iron fist, similar to that of a CEO, and aims to end anybody who gets in his way — including his now-nemesis Tommy, and possibly his own brother in season two.

Lili Simmons as Claudia Flynn
Starz

Lili Simmons as Claudia Flynn

Simmons plays Claudia "Claud" Flynn, otherwise known as the only daughter to the largest kingpin in all of Chicago. She has a mix of book and street smarts that make her brilliant as a politician and ruthless as a criminal, though the latter is a more accurate description. Working in such a men-dominated business, Claudia has no choice but to try to carve out a place for herself. Her father's arrogance pushes her to branch off with her own operation, assisted by Tommy and a timid scientist, in season one, but season two will reveal if she's able to maintain it without her family's interference.

Starz

Shane Harper as Vic Flynn

"Hightown" alum Harper portrays Vic Flynn, the heir apparent to his family's drug business who leads with his heart just as much as his fists. Though his father positioned him to be the next in line to take charge, Vic resents that his whole life has been mapped out for him — down to the woman he's meant to be with, Gloria. When Tommy rolls into town, rubs elbows with Vic's father, and makes an enemy out of him, Vic fights to keep his rightful place by any means necessary. But on account of all the friction, plus the shocking death of his longtime love (orchestrated by his father), his future in the drug game is unclear in season two.

Flanagan portrays Walter Flynn, head of the baddest Irish crime family in Chicago. Walter holds his family values very close to his heart, and his codes of honor and tradition carry over to every aspect of his life. As he tries to keep up with the times, Walter finds the criminal organization he built facing threats he never thought it'd encounter — namely, the reckless trouble Tommy brings to town. And with his kids turning against him (rightfully so for his betrayals), Walter must fight to keep his business — and family — from falling apart (again) in season two.

Gabrielle Ryan as Gloria

In season one, Ryan plays Gloria, a "razor-sharp and stunning former Marine" looking to create her own path in Chicago. She owns a bar where she pumps out Michelin-level, Jamaican-inspired dishes and has dreams of one day owning her own restaurant, but a group of Irish mobsters who move in on her territory threaten that. Her encounters with Tommy unravel her world, and her relationship with Vic eventually poses a threat to Walter's business. So in the end, she takes a bullet to the head and Vic is left heartbroken (and vengeful).

While grappling with his own family issues, JP's world turns upside down when he crosses paths with Tommy, aka his half-brother, in season one. And according to season two's logline, it seems the two will get a second chance to mend their family relationships together.

Audrey Esparza as Liliana
Starz

Audrey Esparza as Liliana

"Power" fans first met Esparza's Liliana, a former drug courier for Tommy and Ghost's business, in the original series. It's hard to forget her when you remember how she got that nasty scar on her cheek (the attack by "Pink Sneakers") in season one. She's one of the only original "Power" characters to resurface in "Power Book IV"; this time, she becomes Tommy's partner in crime (literally) as the two try to take over Chicago's drug game. But in the season finale, Tommy's beef with the Flynns ends up getting Liliana shot and killed in a drive-by. Now, in season two, he's on a blood-thirsty mission to avenge her death.
