When it comes to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman did not mince words during their opening monologue at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on March 6. The married couple opened the Spirit Awards by sending their "best wishes" to Ukraine before telling Vladimir Putin to "f*ck off" and holding their middle fingers to the camera.

"I think we speak for everyone here when we say that we are hoping for a quick, peaceful resolution," Mullally said. "Specifically, f*ck off and go home, Putin!" Offerman added, "We hope Putin f*cks off and goes home, and to that end, let's all join together with a Spirit Awards salute to Putin."

Mullally concluded, "Great organizations are raising money [for Ukrainian refugees]. Please give what you can to give to the victims of this senseless act of aggression." Watch Mullally and Offerman's opening monologue above.
