Kristen Wiig's Spoof of The Crown Will Have You Spitting Out Your Crumpet With Laughter

Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo are the single greatest comedic duo of 2021. A few weeks after the release of their movie Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar, the costars stopped by The Late Late Show on Wednesday night to bless us with even more laughter. The actresses teamed up with host James Corden to spoof three of last year's most popular series — The Queen's Gambit, The Crown, and The Undoing — and it's easy to see why they were "fired" from the shows before they aired.

First up, Mumolo and Corden imitate chess champs Beth Harmon and Benny Watts, respectively, but instead of playing chess, they go head-to-head in a game of Operation. Everything goes to sh*t when a very intoxicated Alma Wheatley (Wiig) busts into the scene with a giant game of Jenga and a similarly giant drink on hand. The trio then whips out their finest British accents for a Crown skit revolving around Prince Charles (Mumolo) telling Princess Diana (Wiig) that he loves Camila. Wiig's exaggerated head tilt is truly the icing on the cake. And lastly, Corden shows off his spot-on Hugh Grant impression for an Undoing skit in which Grace Fraser's (Wiig) red hair increasingly gets more voluminous as the sketch draws on.

If you need a good chuckle (or three), watch the entire late-night video in full above. All in favor of Wiig and Mumolo being on every single episode of The Late Late Show, please say "aye."
