Is Jena Malone Playing a Female Robin in Batman v Superman?

Is the biggest secret from Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set that Jena Malone is starring as a female Robin? The rumor surfaced this week when a reporter in Detroit (where the movie is shooting) mentioned that tidbit, but Warner Bros. hasn't confirmed Malone's participation or the role. All signs are pointing to Malone definitely being in the cast since she has been spotted shooting scenes on the set, and the red hair she recently debuted also sparked rumors. Variety is reporting that Malone would play Carrie Kelly, a comic book character who's an "alternate version" of Robin. What do you think? It definitely makes the news of Ben Affleck playing Batman pale in comparison.
