Here Are the Winners of the 2022 GLAAD Media Awards — So Far

The 2022 GLAAD Media Awards winners are rolling in! After "RuPaul's Drag Race" season 13 finalist Gottmik announced the nominations live via GLAAD's TikTok channel in January, GLAAD announced the first round of winners on April 2 during their Los Angeles show. The ceremony, which bases the nominations on fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of LGBTQ+ people, had a hefty list of 246 nominations across its 30 award categories.

This year's nominations list had distinct wins for trans and/or nonbinary characters with featured nominees in 18 out of 30 people in the television categories. HBO and HBO Max was the leading network, with 19 nominees across the television and film categories. People of color also made up a large number of nominations in various categories.

The first group of winners included "Eternals," "Saved by the Bell," "Single All the Way," and "RuPaul's Drag Race". The remaining 14 categories will be announced during the New York City ceremony on May 6. The award show will also stream on Hulu on April 16.
