This New Promo For The Bachelor Is Kind of Terrifying

Farmer Chris Soules is one lucky guy. He gets to be the new Bachelor, pose seductively in barn door frames, and walk through a cornfield filled with the voices of women who will savagely rip each other apart to date him. Wait — what? A new promo for the upcoming season of The Bachelor is out, and it's a bizarre play on Field of Dreams . . . Because he's a farmer, get it? Listen, I love The Bachelor as much as the next girl, but I'm not sure if this promo is supposed to make me want to watch it or run far, far away from all cornfields. The new season premieres on Jan. 5, and you can (and absolutely should) watch the strange clip below.
