Gather round, all you golden gods and goddesses — it's time to take a trip back to 1973, er, I mean, 2000 to celebrate Almost Famous. On Tuesday, the cast of the cult-classic film reunited virtually to talk about the project 20 years later, and oh man, the nostalgia. Kate Hudson (Penny Lane), Billy Crudup (Russell Hammond), and Patrick Fugit (William Miller) sat down with director Cameron Crowe for Rolling Stone to discuss the iconic "Tiny Dancer" bus scene, their late castmate Philip Seymour Hoffman, and the challenge of portraying a rock star when you can't sing IRL. Penny Lane might consider this group "too sweet for rock 'n' roll," but we'd say they're just sweet enough. Watch their full conversation with Origins podcast hosts Brian Hiatt and James Andrew Miller above, and get ready to reminisce over the "cool" days.
