Everyone Norman Reedus Dated Before Fiancée Diane Kruger

Fans everywhere fell in love with Norman Reedus as Daryl on "The Walking Dead," and this September he keeps the story going in his spinoff, "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon." But in real life, just one woman has Reedus's heart: his fiancée, actor Diane Kruger. The couple, who share one daughter together, rarely open up about their private life, but they've been going strong since just after they met in 2015.

But before Reedus settled down with Kruger, he had a dating history of his own. It includes former Victoria's Secret Angel Helena Christensen, who he connected with in the late '90s. The pair welcomed a son, Mingus, in 1999, but split in 2003. Reedus continued to have a series of pretty private relationships until connecting with Kruger.

Helena Christensen

Reedus first met Christensen through their mutual friend, photographer Yelena Yemchuk, and the two began dating in 1998. A year later, they welcomed their son, Mingus Lucien Reedus, but they ended up calling it quits in 2003. While the reason for their split is still unclear, Reedus and Christensen remain friends. "She's a really cool girl," Reedus told the New York Post in February 2014. "She's really smart and we laugh at the same crap."

Jarah Mariano

Reedus was linked to the Sports Illustrated model in 2009 after they attended a film event in NYC. The two dated for about a year, but their romance eventually fizzled out.

Glenn Lovrich

Reedus then dated Glenn Lovrich. Not much is known about their relationship other than the fact that they dated for about a year in 2011 and attended a handful of red carpet events together.

Cecilia Singley

Norman was first linked to Cecilia Singley when they were spotted holding hands in late 2013. While neither of the two ever commented on the status of their relationship, they did attend Z100's Jingle Ball concert in December 2013, but it seems their romance was short-lived.

Diane Kruger

Reedus first met Diane on the set of their 2015 movie "Sky," and they quickly sparked dating rumors. Kruger was still in a relationship with actor Joshua Jackson, but they eventually announced their split in July 2016. Kruger and Reedus seemingly confirmed their relationship eight months later with a steamy makeout session in NYC, and the pair have been going strong ever since. They welcomed a daughter, Nova, in 2018. The couple became engaged in 2021.

Reedus revealed Nova's reaction to their engagement during a 2022 appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" "I had the ring for quite a long time in my pocket, just, like, burning a hole in my pocket," he told Kimmel, per "Entertainment Tonight." He was going do it on a motorcycle trip the couple took, but couldn't find the right spot. So he pivoted to proposing at home.

"I felt bad that I didn't do it and Nova, our daughter, was sitting on my lap, and I was like, 'Can you go get my boot? It's in the closet.' She's like, 'Why?' I'm like, 'I just want to look at the boot.' 'Cause I had it shoved in the boot," he explained. "And then I proposed and she started crying, and then Nova started crying — everybody's crying. It was like water works city. And then Nova goes, 'Why are we crying?' Diane's going, 'It's happy tears!' And she's like, 'Yes! it's happy tears!'"
