Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell Look Smitten on the Red Carpet at SXSW

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard made a rare joint red carpet appearance at SXSW in Austin, TX this week. The couple and proud parents of two attended the conference's Building a Brand Through Community session on March 16 in support of their baby brand Hello Bello, which they cofounded in 2018. During the festival, Shepard and Bell were inseparable and displayed some sweet PDA on their way inside.

While walking the red carpet, Bell and Shepard, who have been married since 2013, paused to share a romantic kiss. As they continued into the event, the couple only had eyes for each other, exchanging smiles and laughter. Once the panel began, the pair sat side by side, occasionally holding hands and exchanging heartfelt glances as they answered questions. Shepard and Bell's last notable public appearance together was at the Golden Globes in 2019.

In addition to being business partners, they are parents to two daughters: 8-year-old Delta and 9-year-old Lincoln. "Nothing compares to being a dad. It is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me," Shepard told the audience during their panel, according to People. He continued, "When I have failures in life, I get to come home and still be dad. It is the most transformative experience. You can feel it's why you are here."

As parents, the couple has shielded their daughters from the spotlight, choosing to keep their family life private. In interviews, however, they have been transparent about discussing sensitive topics with their children, including Shepard's experience with sobriety and Bell's advocacy for mental health awareness.
