Now that Jennifer Lawrence is locked down to play Katniss in the Hunger Games movie, it's time to fill out the rest of the cast. The next coveted role is that of Peeta, Katniss's love interest and fellow Hunger Games competitor. Apparently screen testing for the part is happening this week (followed by the auditions for Gale), so take a look at some of the guys who are up for Peeta and vote on who you think is the best fit.

I think none of them should be Peeta. He's supposed to look 16 and all of these ugly people look too old.

I don't really see any of these guys playing Peeta. My perfect Peeta is William Moseley. He has the body and the looks.

I definitely cannot see Hunter Parrish as Peeta. I don't know what other people see in him. I would go for josh Hutcherson, because even if he doesn't have the looks, he has the right personality and that's good enough for me. My second choice would be Lucas till because I really liked what he wrote in his opinion about Peeta, and he has the looks.

The problem with this is that beside Jennifer Lawrence, none of the guys look up to par. They've picked an actress who's going to be very hard to cast against, and the only one who looks close is Hunter Parrish - which is a bummer, since many of the other guys considered would have done an awesome job.

as a guy it's between Lucas till and hunter Parrish as peeta mellark I'm for real they look handsome they fierce and be tough for the showdown i really see josh hutcherson as gale for real he doesn't fit for peeta definitely no.

Chelmarie, I COMPLETELY agree with you. Everyone is talking about hunter parrish and I am just not sold either. Out of these choises I think lucas till would be the most appropriate because: 1. He is the same age as jennifer L. 2. His face matches almost exactly my imagined peetah 3. His personality is sweet and although he starred in a Disney Channel movie, I could take him seriously in such a serious movie like this. P.S. I think gale should be drew roy

I'm really bummed that David Kross (my Peeta when reading the books and who I really hoped was in the running) doesn't seem to be a contender. To me, he just had the perfect look AND the acting skills needed for the role. He's so heartrending in The Reader. But if I have to let go of that dream... I know everyone, everywhere is loving Hunter for the role, but I'm not sold. If these guys really are the only choices, my preference order is Lucas Till, Josh Hutcherson, then Hunter. The rest are definite nos.
