Here's What Happens to Glenn on The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead finally stopped f*cking with us fans on Sunday night and revealed the fate of Glenn. As you're well aware, it's been weeks of agonizing over whether or not Glenn dies thanks to human waste-of-space Nicholas. It's been tough, too, because we had plenty of reasons to believe he was alive, but we found just as many clues that suggested he died after all. The real answer, though? Glenn survives.

Here's how it happens: Nicholas shoots himself in the head because he has no regard for anyone and he's a useless bag of flesh. As he falls, he takes Glenn down with him. Luckily, though, Nicholas falls on top of Glenn, so the walkers only tear Nicholas to shreds while Glenn watches. He remains untouched, though, and quickly realizes he can scoot under the dumpster from which they fell. So, he does, and remains there for days until the walkers get bored or forget about him. Nicholas, of course, doesn't become a walker because he already shot himself in the head. Finally, after what feels like forever, Glenn scoots out from under the dumpster, alive and unscathed. He can't signal to Rick, Maggie, or anyone else in Alexandria because the flare gun has somehow been broken in the whole ordeal. So, he runs into Enid, who has run away from Alexandria. Glenn convinces Enid to begrudgingly join forces with him as we see, and the two make their way home on foot.

Were you surprised Glenn survives, or did you know all along?
