After some waffling, Christina cut Jesse Campbell. My jaw dropped, because while never in a million years would I have picked Beyoncé's hit for Jesse, the dude gave a solid rendition of it and it seemed like he was realizing that it was crunch time and upped the ante vocally. Adam and Blake echoed that it started slow but ended up as a great performance.

Did he deserve to go home?

No surprise, personally, that Jordis ended up cut last night - I remember her being on another music compeition show and she was cut at this same type of level then so no surprise now. Christina's choice was a huge surprise to me when she seemed more inclinded toward Lindsay based on her performance this week I'm secretly glad that she hasn't been removed yet though ;) Personally, I hate how the fans were basically phased out last night - what's the fun of watching these type of shows when you're choice is removed? It just keeps turning me back to online voice contests like MakeAStar where at least your vote counts. I should say with MakeAStar its all the counts since the voting/winners on the site are totally fan decided and its a much more interactive experience.
