Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth linked up with their Catching Fire costar Sam Claflin this morning for a photocall at the extremely rainy Cannes Film Festival! The trio were able to escape the elements by posing inside the Majestic hotel. Jennifer, Sam, and Liam are in France to hype up the second installment of The Hunger Games series, which is out in the US on Nov. 22. Also smiling for the cameras were Lionsgate cochairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger and director Francis Lawrence.

The cast and team behind the film are busy despite the release being six months away. It was just announced that CoverGirl will launch the Capitol Collection, a range of makeup products inspired by the film. And Liam made sure to enjoy the social side of Cannes, too. Last night, he and a group of guy friends checked out the Rev Run and DJ Ruckus set at Belvedere's party inside the VIP Room club.

Lionsgate has just revealed the first official poster for Catching Fire (not to be confused with the motion poster or victory tour propaganda). It's pretty cool, too: a vintage-looking Katniss ponders the meaning of life atop a bluff with her trusty bow and arrow in hand, along with a quote from the novel: "The sun persists in rising, so I make myself stand." I still wish we could get a peek at the new arena, but I'll take what I can get for now. How do you feel about the new one-sheet?

But wait — there's more exciting news on the Hunger Games front: Lionsgate has launched an official Instagram account for The Hunger Games, so be sure to check it out for all the latest updates on Catching Fire.

Those who were watching the MTV Movie Awards got a special sneak peek of Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson in Catching Fire — and we have it right here, too! The clip shows some gruesome scenes from the book (like Gale's whipping) and hints at the impending revolution — along with a steamy kiss between Gale and Katniss. We even get a look at Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, but unfortunately there's no look at the tropical arena just yet.

The second Hunger Games movie isn't coming out until Nov. 22, so thank goodness we're getting a look at Katniss, Peeta, and the whole crew to tide us over until then. Did you miss it? No worries — we've got the teaser after the jump.

We know a thing about taking movie/TV show fandom seriously; you want to hear what other fans love about the same characters and need instant access to the latest news or trailers. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire doesn't hit theaters until Nov. 22, but fans are already reblogging, starring, and analyzing every piece of news and picture taken from the set. Today, everything social media has to offer on the world of Panem has been centralized in one interactive online hub, The Hunger Games Explorer.

A partnership between Lionsgate, the studio behind the dystopian film series, and Internet Explorer, the HTML5-powered site pulls in global fan content from social networks Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, and even Google+. Official updates from the studio like cast photos and videos will make their world debut first on The Hunger Games Explorer.

The HTML5 interface was designed specifically to work with the touch screen of Windows 8 hybrid computers on Internet Explorer 10 — you can swipe through tweets and tap to like a new GIF or to comment on a YouTube video — though the site will work just fine on all other computing platforms as well.

Look for official content uploaded weekly to the site, which starts now with the latest Catching Fire trailer premiering online in conjunction with its first view at the MTV Movie Awards.

Hunger Games fans, get excited! Catching Fire may not be coming out until November, but today we get to see an exciting new poster for the sequel. It features Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) in what looks like the Capitol's poster for their Hunger Games Victory Tour. Naturally, they look like the winners they are: cleaned-up, well-dressed, and close enough to each other that you'd believe they were in love. While I've been enjoying seeing Lawrence on the award-show circuit, this poster reminds me that what I really can't wait to see her in is this movie.
