Twenty-five years ago today, Labyrinth, the fantasy film directed by Jim Henson and produced by George Lucas, first appeared on the silver screen. Now a cult classic thanks to David Bowie's musical numbers as Jareth the Goblin King and the frantic labyrinth race of an adolescent Jennifer Connelly to save her baby brother from turning into a puppet goblin.

In honor of Labyrinth's anniversary, a clip breakdown of the catchiest Jareth song, "Magic Dance." Enjoy!

Back to Cool: Labyrinth

If you're prone to bouts of whimsy, i.e.

If you're prone to bouts of whimsy, i.e. gazing out the window fantasizing about exotic, mystical lands with freaky creatures, let Labyrinth be your back to cool style guide. This dark fantasy starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie is a Jim Henson classic. It's not for the wee ones — it does have some squeamish parts — but it is recommended for a deeper journey into the imagination. For running through the walls, consider this dELiAs Bobbi Military Vest ($35), while these majestic Forever 21 Star Burst Dangle Earrings ($6) sparkle. You'll need some tough boots like these swamp-resistant Tory Burch Troy Elastic Ankle Boots ($425), but something lacy for the big ball; perhaps this Marc by Marc Jacobs "Bronte" Lace Top ($398). Buzz In: What Movies Did You Watch Most as a Kid?

Seeing Race to Witch Mountain take the top spot at the weekend box office got me all nostalgic for the original Witch Mountain movies.

Seeing Race to Witch Mountain take the top spot at the weekend box office got me all nostalgic for the original Witch Mountain movies. Escape to Witch Mountain and Return from Witch Mountain — both now out in special edition DVDs, which, frankly, I can't wait to buy — were two of my most frequent video rentals when I was a kid.

I'm not sure if they're the movies I watched the most, though — but they're up there with The NeverEnding Story, Labyrinth, and Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, which I think I begged my parents to rent every time I stayed home sick from school. So, what about you? Which were your most frequently viewed movies as a kid?

In the spirit of the upcoming Halloween holiday and costuming and masquerade, I made this week's Buzzworthy challenge all about movies with great costumes, and the results were dazzling! I feel the need to check out each of these movies all over again just to get some inspiration for my own Halloween costume this year. Below are some of the bookmarked movies that I chose to highlight and then a widget including all of the selected titles.

Breakfast at Tiffany's
Bookmarked by gruaig_rua, Breakfast at Tiffany's is a classic costume movie! That sleek black dress, the gloves, and the pearls have become iconic in cinematic — and pop culture — history.

The Last Emperor
Bookmarked by Fab_Kitty who writes "The costumes in this thoughtful, sumptuous movie are amazing. I have no clue whether they are historically and/or culturally accurate, but each item of clothing is clearly designed to finest detail."
