Music Stars Have a Fun Night at the American Country Awards
Country stars were joined by their Hollywood friends last night for the third annual American Country Awards in Las Vegas. Hosts Kristin Chenoweth and Trace Adkins, who hosted last year's event too, made a hilarious entrance when they walked on stage with Trace carrying tiny Kristin in a pink baby sling. Kristin made multiple costume changes throughout the night, even changing into a sexy Santa costume to celebrate the Christmas season.
Big winners for the night included Miranda Lambert, who took home a single of the year award and a music video of the year award, and Carrie Underwood, who won the single of the year and female artist of the year prizes. This has been a busy month for Carrie, who we last saw at the taping of CMT's Artist of the Year celebration.
Get In On Hollywood's New Blazer Obsession: Cobalt Blue
We've already established that cobalt blue is Hollywood's It color of the moment, and now we're breaking down the color even further with seven celebs in cobalt blazers. This eye-catching shade adds a playful touch to the traditional black blazer, which is why stars like Cindy Crawford, Vanessa Lachey, and Demi Lovato have been seen rocking cobalt toppers with everything from jeans to dresses. Step inside to see other fashionistas who have donned the trend recently, how they styled it, and where you can find a similarly bold blazer.
Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, and More Country Stars Add Fender Guitars to Their Trophy Cases
Las Vegas went country last night for the 2011 American Country Awards. The event was hosted by Trace Adkins, for the second year in a row, and this time around he was joined by pint-sized companion Kristin Chenoweth. The night was a celebration of the genre's finest musicians with Jason Aldean taking home six Fender guitar statues, including artist of the year. Carrie added three awards to her growing collection including female artist of the year, music video of the year, and female artist single of the year. Taylor Swift missed out on the Sin City fun, and even though she was nominated in six categories her winning streak came to an end.
Blake Shelton took a break from filming The Voice to join his lovely wife Miranda Lambert in the front row of the audience. The superstar pair raised their plastic glasses during Toby Keith's performance of his hit "Red Solo Cup," and Keith later went on to accept the honor of artist of the decade. The evening was a mini American Idol reunion of sorts for former contestants Carrie, Jordin Sparks, Lauren Alaina, and Scotty McCreery. Scotty, last year's AI champion, earned his first ever award and took home the title of new artist of the year.
Carrie Underwood Gets the American Country Awards Going With Kristin and Jordan
Carrie Underwood kicked off the American Country Awards red carpet in Las Vegas tonight. She wore a playful white Maria Lucia Hohan number while Jordin Sparks also went with the neutral hue. Kristin Chenoweth, who cohosted the evening with singer Trace Adkins, chose a bright plunging green gown by Honor. Kristin started off the show with a funny skit and then handed the microphone to Jordin. Jordin presented the first honor of the night, Single of the Year, to Carrie Underwood, for "Mama's Song." It was just the beginning of the winning for Carrie, who picked up two more Fender guitar statues before the show wrapped up. Other country performers recognized at the 2011 ACAs included Lady Antebellum, American Idol's Scotty McCreery, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton.

Diane Kruger Stays Short but Fancy For InStyle's Summer Soirée
Diane Kruger rocked a shorts suit last night for a party thrown by InStyle. The bash, held inside West Hollywood's London Hotel, brought out other starlets like Jaime King, Lea Michele, and Jordana Brewster. Diane's ensemble was from her pal Jason Wu's resort collection — see what the other celebs wore to InStyle's Summer soirée. Diane had a night with her lady friends after a few fun outings with her main man, Joshua Jackson. They had a sweet day date last week checking out Captain America, as both Josh and Diane gear up for the return of his show Fringe on Sept. 23.
Love it or Hate it: Kristin Chenoweth's Diamond Choker
Kristin Chenoweth attended the New York Opera Spring Gala in a long, understated, and very elegant black gown. She kept her hair simple and sleek in a low ponytail. And then she added this big choker around her neck. The choker itself is pretty interesting, with a knotted shape in front. We're just not sure about the combo. What do you think? Does her choker work or would you prefer to see something a bit more understated?
