Guardians of the Galaxy Is Already Getting a Sequel

One of the biggest announcements to come out of Marvel's panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego is that Guardians of the Galaxy is getting a sequel — before the first movie has even premiered! At the end of the iconic studio's panel, director James Gunn and lead actor Chris Pratt starred in a short video to make the announcement for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. On the eve of the film's premiere (Guardians is out Friday, Aug. 1), Pratt and Gunn were also excited to give the sequel's release date: July 28, 2017.
