Ginger & Rosa: Being BFFs Is Hard in 1960s London For Elle Fanning

It seems like just yesterday Elle Fanning was but a wee girl, but now she's running around London protesting nuclear war.

It seems like just yesterday Elle Fanning was but a wee girl, but now she's running around London protesting nuclear war. Where does the time go? Elle is Ginger in Ginger & Rosa, half of a tight twosome growing up in London in the early '60s. Though they're intent on staying best friends forever, the tumultuous times pull them apart as Ginger grows increasingly concerned about the world's political climate and Rosa fails to show the same interest. Christina Hendricks stars as Ginger's mother, who is struggling with her daughter's resistance to hold onto her youth.

I'll be curious to see Hendricks outside of her Mad Men character, Joan, though it appears she just can't wriggle away from '60s couture. To me, this already feels like An Education meets Across the Universe (minus the Beatles tunes, of course). Ginger & Rosa doesn't yet have a release date, but you can watch the trailer when you read more.

Natalie, Reese, Sandra, and More Oscars Ladies Are Red-Hot and Sparkly on the Carpet

There was a great deal of glamour on display at this evening's Oscars.

There was a great deal of glamour on display at this evening's Oscars. Academy Awards newcomer Hailee Steinfeld led the subtle sparkling trend in a tea length Marchesa, while Cate Blanchett picked lavender Givenchy and Black Swan's Mila Kunis wore a darker purple Elie Saab. Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman stuck with the color theme, wearing Dolce and Gabbana and Rodarte respectively. Amy Adams, meanwhile, went bold in blue with her sequined L'Wren Scott.

Blue Valentine star Michelle Williams, who brought her pal Busy Philipps as her date, dazzled in Chanel, while Nicole Kidman picked a similar hue from Christian Dior. Celine Dion chose a simple and chic white Armani Prive, and Halle Berry stepped out in an ethereal design by Marchesa. Mandy Moore arrived solo in a romantic Monique Lhuillier, and Gwyneth Paltrow's first look of two was a metallic Calvin Klein.

Red was perhaps the night's most popular color, with Jennifer Hudson choosing a bright Versace and Jennifer Lawrence being a knockout in Calvin Klein. Last year's best actress winner, Sandra Bullock, returned in red Vera Wang and the show's host, Anne Hathaway, was decked out in a similar look from Valentino for her first gown. Reese Witherspoon changed things up in black and white Giorgio Armani, and Camila Alves perfectly complemented her partner, Matthew McConaughey, in a black gown. Mila is currently your pick for the evening's best dressed — click through to see more photos, and remember to vote on all of Fab and Bella's love it or hate it polls!

You know those "mom" moments when you step back from your own life and see your spouse, your children, and all the chaos unfold as if you're watching a movie? Well, The Kids Are All Right is exactly that . . . only the parents are lesbian couple, Nic (Annette Bening) and Jules (Julianne Moore), and their kids Joni and Laser (Mia Wasikowska and Josh Hutcherson) are coming of age and want to meet their biological father, sperm donor Paul (Mark Ruffalo).
