it's hard for me to picture anyone else in the roles, but i could see how some of these actors were considered. i'm definitely happy with the end results. especially the hutch!

I think Jennifer Lawrence was a great choice! Though after seeing Hanna, I think Saoirse Ronan could have also kicked some serious butt.

They may have passed over Saoirse Ronan for Katniss, but at least she hasn't been completely left out of the young adult cult movie brigade - She is playing Melanie Stryder in The Host next year, and I can't think of anyone more perfect for that part.
