Wimbledon came to a close yesterday, with Roger Federer winning the men's singles final, after Serena Williams beat her sister to become the women's singles champion. Just like previous years, the tennis tournament has attracted lots of celebrities to watch the action. Check out who was there this year.

Director Woody Allen and American Apparel's two-year battle have finally come to an end. American Apparel has agreed to pay Allen $5 million to settle a lawsuit claiming the company used his image on billboards and the Internet without his consent. “Naturally there is some relief of not having to go through a trial, but I also harbor a sense of remorse and sadness for not arguing an important issue regarding the First Amendment, particularly the ability of an individual or corporation to invoke the likeness of a public figure in a satiric and social statement,” said CEO and founder of American Apparel, Dov Charney, who also mentioned that the decision to settle the case was made on behalf of the company's insurance carrier.

In the trailer for Woody Allen's next movie, Whatever Works, Larry David's character Boris insists that "this is not the feel-good movie of the year." While that may be true, I feel pretty good after watching it! I don't know if it's the great cast (which includes Patricia Clarkson, Evan Rachel Wood, and Ed Begley Jr., among others), Allen's writing and direction, or just Larry David's delivery, but I found myself laughing quite a lot at the preview for this bizarre-looking film.

Woody Allen's latest film Whatever Works kicked off the Tribeca Film Festival last night. The film stars Evan Rachel Wood — who just joined the cast of True Blood — and Larry David as husband and wife, which is a bit of an unlikely duo. Mary-Kate Olsen wasn't the one making out with an older man on the big screen this time, but she was still out to support the festival and film.

Madison Square Garden had a star-studded audience to watch the Cavs defeat the Knicks last night. Jay-Z came for a second time this week and this time hanging out with Diddy and checking out the dancers for a fun boys' night. At one point Diddy even had some trouble finding change among all his hundred dollar bills.

Penelope Cruz joined her boys Woody Allen and Javier Bardem at the San Sebastian Film Festival for the red carpet premiere of Vicky Cristina Barcelona on Saturday. Penelope looked stunning in her black D&G gown, which just happened to be the same dress we saw in white on January Jones at the Emmys last night — vote here on who wore it better. We're excited to see Penelope and Javier together, but it looks like her red carpet kisses were saved for Woody rather than any PDA with her man.
