Which is Your Favourite Halloween Music Video?

It's Halloween on Saturday and I've been thinking about my favourite spookily themed music videos! Michael Jackson's "Thriller" will always be a classic, but there's been some other fun ones like Backstreet Boys "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)", Rihanna's "Disturbia" and perhaps the lesser known Metric's "Monster Hospital". Meat Loaf, Ryan Gosling's band Dead Man's Bones and a couple of songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show just missed my list, but I'd love to know which of these is your favourite - so let me know!

Sugar Bits – Christian To Be Cautioned?

Christian Bale is expected to receive a caution over the alleged assault on his mum and sister at The Dorchester in London. – The Sun
Richard O'Brien is not happy about the reported remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, or reports that he will be co-producing. He's said he won't be involved in any way, the movie will be financed by SkyMovies in the UK and MTV in the US. – BBC
Jennifer Lopez is to produce a TV comedy drama based on her movie Maid In Manhattan for the ABC network in the US. – NME
Shilpa Shetty will be hosting an Indian version of Big Brother, with rumours that Jade Goody may appear on the show also. – Daily Mail
Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have apparently either ended their relationship or cooled things off. – PopSugar
Gary Oldman is to front an ITV football ad campaign, promoting their online, mobile and TV coverage this season. – Guardian

FABTV: The Time Warp!

Don't tell me you've never done the Time Warp. When were you first introduced to The Rocky Horror Picture Show? I may have been too young - 15? - but it was so much fun. Needless to say, my friends and I were all over it, and snuck out to catch the famous midnight showing. (Mom, are you reading this?) I had two giant hickeys on my neck as a result. No, not from necking - they said it was a ritual that had to be done to all RHPS virgins. I gave in. It was so much fun.

P.S. A remake is in the works! Not sure how I feel about that, but I kinda can't wait to see.

Let's Do the Time Warp Again?

It may be "just a jump to your left/ Then a step to your right," but I can't help but think that this might be a giant step to the back. That's right, news surfaced today that a The Rocky Horror Picture Show remake is in the works. The MTV network is partnering with Lou Adler, who produced the 1975 film, for a remake that will feature the original screenplay of Jim Sharman and Richard O'Brien, with the possibility of a new song or two.

As someone who is a big fan of the original film and the stage production (yes, I saw Luke Perry as Brad!) this news makes me a little sad, especially as it's coming from the network that brought us Carmen: A Hip Hopera. Regardless, the original is such a cult classic, and Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, and Meatloaf are so iconic in their respective roles. Seriously, who else but Tim Curry could sing "Sweet Transvestite?" Alan Cumming perhaps? How do you feel about this news? Are you ready to do the time warp again?
