Aw, you guys, for a comedy, this season finale of The Office is pretty darn sweet! Jim and Pam traditionally have big moments in Office finales, but there's another love story at play here when Holly Flax — and boyfriend AJ — meet up with Michael at the company picnic. There's also volleyball and "soup snakes."

I want to go to Cafe Disco so badly. I'm serious! Dancing, "expresso," the cast of The Office — it looks like so much fun.

"Oh, it is on, like a prawn who yawns at dawn."
Yes, it is, Office fans! In my opinion, this episode is definitely on like a prawn who yawns at dawn.

Uh-oh — all the cheese puff tossing in the world can't distract the employees of the Michael Scott Paper Company from the fact that their low, low prices are causing the company to go broke. But at the same time, Dunder-Mifflin has been rapidly losing clients to the Michael Scott Paper Company, and David Wallace pays a visit to the Scranton branch to figure out what to do about it. A chain of kissing up ensues (Dwight to Charles, Charles to David).

The Michael Scott Paper Company has gone from something that seemed extremely sad to a place that seems almost kinda fun. There are certainly days I wish I could spend throwing and catching cheese puffs. And once again, though we know Michael's a little slow on the uptake, he still manages to show that he can be a pretty solid paper salesman when need be.

After Michael's (and Pam's!) surprising departure from Dunder-Mifflin, all our favorite Scrantonites are adjusting to the new way of things — Jim's still struggling with "new boss" Charles, and the office has a new receptionist, Kelly (now Erin, since there are two Kellys). Meanwhile, Michael and Pam are taking their first shaky steps toward running the brand-new Michael Scott Paper Company.
Two whole episodes to talk about — what did you think of The Office this week?

I'm curious to find out your reactions to this week's episode of The Office because I have to admit, it's not my fave. Not much Dwight (and no Jim/Dwight pranks) and not nearly enough Andy for my taste. Still, even the kinda disappointing episodes of The Office are way better than most other things on TV!

"You have no idea how high I can fly."
Wow! I was starting to think that this was yet another episode in which someone comes in and makes Michael look insane, and then Michael becomes pitiable again and then everything goes back to normal.

I won't recount the entire opening of this episode of The Office, but just knowing that it had to do with knock-knock jokes, face-slapping, and the KGB is enough to make me grin again (especially when Michael tells Dwight to open the door when Jim (or, the KGB) "knocks" and Dwight doesn't want to open the door). From there we meet a Willy Wonkified Michael who has a "golden" promotional idea, but when the idea backfires he tries to force Dwight to claim the idea was his. Meanwhile, Kevin is receiving conflicting dating advice from Pam, Jim, and Andy.

Happy Valentine's Blood Drive, everyone! The theme of this week's episode of The Office may be a little belated but is no less funny or satisfying for it. Still stinging from his Holly heartbreak, of course Michael wants all the single employees at Dunder-Mifflin to have their own private Valentine's Day party (away from the "general sexiness" of Jim and Pam's relationship).
