Adrien and Rachel Pose Without Their Bloom Brother

Adrien Brody took his new, streaked hairstyle to the red carpet for a screening of The Brothers Bloom in NYC last night. His costar Rachel Weisz kept him company, while his onscreen brother Mark Ruffalo skipped the event. The movie hits theaters on May 29, and we're already excited to see that it features the clean-shaven Adrien Brody face we've been missing.

May is one of the entertainment year's blockbuster months: Big movies swoop into theaters again, TV shows have their season finales, record labels start delivering albums that will be our Summer soundtrack, and networks start getting us excited for the shows that will fill the TV schedule come Fall. Rachel and Robbie Bring Out The Brothers Bloom

Rachel Weisz looked glowing and as beautiful as usual as she stepped out on to the London Film Festival red carpet for a screening of her new movie The Brothers Bloom, alongside her costar Robbie Coltrane. Mark Ruffalo and Adrien Brody star as the con men brothers of the title, swindling millionaires out of their fortunes with crazy scenarios. The two decide to take on one last job, showing a beautiful and eccentric heiress the time of her life across many countries of the world. Movie Preview: The Brothers Bloom

Had you ever heard of this movie before right now? Me neither! But it looks weird and funny and stars an odd-but-promising assortment of people, like Mark Ruffalo, Adrien Brody, Rachel Weisz and Babel's Rinko Kikuchi. The plot follows a quirky group of people who plan a heist, but of course, things go haywire. I never would have thought to put Ruffalo and Brody together in a comedic film, but it really seems to work. Also, this same director, Rian Johnson, directed the strange little teen noir film Brick, which I liked.

Wonder Woman: Rachel Weisz Wants to End World Hunger

Oscar winner, fashion muse, hunger advocate and mother, Rachel Weisz, juggles quite a few roles in addition to those that land her on the big screen. The British-born actress is about to embark on a whirlwind media blitz to promote her three new films this Summer, including The Brothers Bloom, which opens this week, and The Lovely Bones. While the tour of television studios will give us a better opportunity to see the beauty on our small screens, it doesn't mean the actress will be converting to the Hollywood lifestyle.

Known for intensely keeping her family-life private, Weisz and her fiancé Darren Aronofsky, director of the Oscar-winning film The Wrestler, welcomed son Henry Chance almost three years ago and quietly live in Manhattan's East Village, far from the glitz and glamour of other Tinseltown stars. Following the filming of her Academy Award-winning role as murdered Kenyan aid worker Tessa Quayle in The Constant Gardener, Weisz joined the UN's World Food Programme to bring global awareness to the hunger and poverty issues facing children around the world, saying:

"Every new mother wonders what will I pass on. Hunger is one inheritance no mother wants to give her child, yet millions of poor mothers have for generations. Help WFP break this cycle. No child inherit hunger."

Weisz recently signed on to play a similarly gritty role in The Whistleblower, the true story of post-war Bosnian peacekeeper who exposes a United Nations cover-up of a sex-trafficking scandal. We look forward to seeing the passion she brings to that project as well.

Love It or Hate It? Rachel Weisz's Bloomin' Look

There hasn't been much buzz about The Brothers Bloom, though I can't figure out why. Not only does it have a fantastic cast (including the dreamy Mark Ruffalo), the plot looks pretty clever. At the movie's press conference, Rachel Weisz looked simple and classic. Is it too safe? For the red carpet, I might think so, but it's polished and perfect for a press conference. (Plus, we know Rachel likes a dramatic look now and then.) Are you liking this everyday style or not?

Adrien Brody and Topher Grace to Take on Predators

While it's not a shock that Fox is rebooting yet another franchise with the upcoming Predators - the casting is kind of surprising: Oscar-winner Adrien Brody has signed on for the movie, and Topher Grace is in talks to star as well.

Robert Rodriguez's Predators is quite the departure for Brody, usually seen in moving dramas like his award-winning role in the The Pianist and quirky comedies like last year's The Brothers Bloom. Grace isn't a stranger to action adventure, though, since he starred as villain Venom in Spider-Man 3. I just have to laugh at the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger is the star of the original film - so far, it seems like Rodriguez doesn't have the same need for beefy actors in his own hunt for aliens.
