Movie Preview: Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia
I've been waiting on a trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for what feels like forever (more specifically, ever since those first photos of Jake all buff and shirtless).
The preview starts off strong, immediately taking us on an adventure quest that doesn't make any attempt to hide its video game origins. The effects are amazing, though I couldn't help snickering the first time Gyllenhaal speaks in a British accent.
First Look at Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince of Persia — Sexy or Not?
Back in July we caught a preview of what long-haired Jake Gyllenhaal will look like in Prince of Persia, but we were not prepared for what we see here. Jake debuted his super buff bod in Morocco today, taking a break from filming to spend time with his special on-set visitor Reese. Who knew he was hiding all that muscle under his shirts?

We got another glance at Reese Witherspoon out in London last night, and this time she was accompanied by yummy Jake Gyllenhaal – who hid under his hood as he left Scott's. The couple were out with Jerry Bruckheimer, who's producing Prince Of Persia – the movie Jake's in town to work on. The delish actor will star alongside some fab British talent in the movie, like Alfred Molina and Sir Ben Kingsley as well as stunning Bond girl Gemma Arterton.
Jake Gyllenhaal to Become the Prince of Persia for Disney
According to Hollywood Reporter, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton will star together in a film adaptation of the Prince of Persia video game for Disney. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Mona Lisa Smile, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be a "fantasy adventure" in which "Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world."

Scruffy Jake Rides On in Jolly Old England
Jake Gyllenhaal looked like he was really enjoying his training for Prince of Persia in London today. The white horse is princely for sure, but we don't know if we quite feel the same way about his scruffy beard and long hair. Either way, it looks like we'll have plenty of action scenes packed with cute Jake galloping around when the fantasy movie finally hits the theaters.
Prince Jake Gyllenhaal?
Jake Gyllenhaal looked casual cool out and about in LA over the weekend. It's no playing on the beach with Reese in her bikini, but he was still enjoying his sunny California weather. It's nothing compared for the heat he has in store, however, because Jakey G just landed the starring role in the film adaptation of the Prince of Persia video game.
