Apparently, Hobbit houses aren't big sellers. Developer Ron Meyers's housing development, "The Shire," which is located in Bend, Oregon, has only sold one home since the project began nearly two years ago. And granted, I am a Lord of the Rings dork, but even if I weren't I'd still find these houses pretty cute.

It's a strange experience when you realize you're enjoying a movie more than you enjoyed the book on which it's based because so often the opposite is true. If you haven't noticed, GiggleSugar is having a fun freakfest today by featuring the overgrown toenail lady, the robotic beefcake, and the diaper boy. I thought it only appropriate, then, to conclude with this compilation of the word "Nooooooooooo!" Yes folks, the end is near.

How do you render the famous aphrodisiac powers of Barry White songs null and void? Just get two repulsive Lord of the Rings characters (Gollum and Smeagol) to lip-sync "Never Gonna Give You Up." That should do it.
