It's Complicated, But Hopefully It's Over!

Mama Denise Richards fought hard to make her television show Denise Richards: It's Complicated a reality. Lacking fan support or interest, it's not surprising that the foul mouthed mum could be hearing "CUT" a lot sooner than she'd like. According to some sources, the drop in viewership is being attributed to her nasty public custody battles with ex–husband Charlie Sheen over daughters Sam and Lola and her use of four letter words on screen.

Perhaps Living Lohan will be next up on the chopping block? A girl can dream. Would you be relieved if Denise's show was canceled?

Lindsay Lunches In LA

Lindsay Lohan ate her lunch yesterday on Robertson Blvd in LA, matching the bright weather with a fab neon pink tee. Meanwhile, her parents Michael and Dina were back in court battling it out over custody issues, though afterwards they both claimed to be done talking about it to the press. Ha! With Dina's new reality series Living Lohan and Michael's ongoing blog responses to the TV show, it's no wonder Lindsay seems to be as over the drama as everyone else is.

While she has had her share of public scandals and still blabs from time to time, it seems like maybe she learned a lesson about keeping her private life private from her parents after all. She definitely doesn't want us to forget who she is though, judging by her name-tag necklace...

Would Reality TV Be a Step Backwards For Lindsay Lohan?

We're less than a week away from the first episode of Living Lohan, and of course Dina and Ali are promoting their new reality show anywhere they can. Dina even spoke out about why her eldest daughter won't be featured in the series, saying, "I told Lindsay I don't want her on the show. Doing reality TV would almost be taking a step backward as far as her career goes." We think that an appearance from Lindsay would probably boost ratings quite a bit, so tell us - do you think reality TV would be a step backwards for LL?

Dina Lohan to Star in Living Lohan

First it was Denise Richards, now it's Dina Lohan. These two Hollywood mamas are putting their lives (and their children's) up for display on reality television. The difference is that Dina's kids crave the attention just as much as her.

Maybe I'm out of line but it seems to me that Dina Lohan is riding the coattails of her star wild child Lindsay Lohan to make herself and her other children famous. Dina told Page Six that they decided to do a reality show because,

We have no choice. Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who Ali is as a person, it’s better.

Ali Lohan is an aspiring actress who wants to follow in her big sis's footsteps. Lindsay may make a guest appearance every now and then (surely unscripted, riiiight).

Call me crazy, but if my eldest child was in and out of rehab and posing nude on magazine covers, I'd hardly be pushing my 14–year–old daughter to do the same.

Lindsay's Just Living La Vida Lohan

Lindsay Lohan ducked out of Hyde last night with her two favorite accessories: a bottle of water and a new man friend. Her hard-partying ways seem to have taken a turn for the more obvious in 2008, and her antics are back to being fairly bizarre, like this Thursday's photo exhibit about her tattoos. While it's hard enough to watch her get back into bad habits from afar, we have a much more up close and personal look into the Lohan family coming soon. Dina's ill-conceived reality TV show has a name, Living Lohan, and is officially due to premiere this summer. A statement from E! says:

"The Lohans are one of the most intriguing families in the entertainment industry today . . . This is a family that knows how to roll with the punches and come out on top. Dina is an incredibly hard-working, passionate mom that I think our viewers will find both relatable and highly entertaining.”

The show will focus on Dina helping Ali launch her singing and acting career but will also star all the other Lohan children. While Dina has expressed her hopes that Lindsay be on the show (of course, her biggest little star!) I certainly wouldn't blame LL for staying as far away from those cameras as possible. So - who's excited for Living Lohan?
