The point of a picnic is to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors with the family. I am an admitted foodie, but not going to break the bank by packing a gourmet meal for our afternoon adventures with the kids. They dine and dash toward the swings leaving my husband and I to scarf up what we can before chasing them around.

Good thing there are plenty of other dog owners in the office, otherwise North would have a serious case of dandruff! I've been wanting to test out all the shampoos I've had stashed in my desk for a while now, but if I bathe my pup too often, his skin gets flaky and dry. Thankfully, Samson was good and stinky (and needed to be fresh and clean for our Dog Day on the Bay) when I asked LilPeaPod to test out True Blue's Super Fresh Grapefruit and Chamomile Shampoo ($13).

Dear Sugar,
I've been living with my boyfriend for the past year in a very nice apartment with all the amenities a young couple would want — washer and dryer in the unit, a 24 hour gym in the building, a mile long grass area to walk our dogs, etc. Now that the lease is up, we are leaving because the rent went up to the point of ridiculousness. As we move into a posh apartment complex, we are faced with some challenges we didn't have before that are creating some stress in our relationship.
