Matthew and Catherine Celebrate Michael's Body of Work
Michael Douglas was the man of the evening last night as he received an AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in LA. He hit the red carpet on the arm of his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, while his Ghosts of Girlfriends Past costar Matthew McConaughey brought along Camila Alves. Kiefer Sutherland and Tobey Maguire took the stage to pay tribute to their pal Michael, and Catherine even brought out her Chicago skills for a song-and-dance number in her husband's honor.
MTV Movie Awards Bring Lots of Laughs and Pattinson
Andy Samberg kept the star-studded crowd laughing the whole night at the Robert Pattinson Appreciation Awards, we mean MTV Movie Awards, in LA yesterday. After the gorgeous men and women walked the red carpet, Andy opened the show spoofing the year's biggest movies — from The Reader to Star Trek. Really though, all show long Twilight found its way into almost every segment in some way.
Twilight Takes Over The 2009 MTV Movie Awards!
The MTV Movie Awards took place in LA last night, hosted by American comedian Andy Samberg, with the Twilight cast stealing the show for many reasons! Robert Pattinson chose to skip the red carpet, going straight into the venue, while his castmates posed for photos and signed autographs. Then inside they won five awards for the movie, including Breakthrough Male for Robert Pattinson, Best Kiss and Best Movie, while Kristen Stewart dropped her Best Female Performance award while accepting it.

Kiefer's Bringing 24 Season Eight to New York
Keifer Sutherland's in New York this week for the Fox Upfronts presentations, and he took some time out to enjoy lunch at Da Silvano in the West Village yesterday. While our friends in America have already seen the season seven finale of 24, we've got to wait until Monday for the closing double bill. I'm already looking forward to the next season, and it sounds like Kiefer will be spending a lot more time in NYC thanks to season eight of the show, saying:

Joshua and Kiefer Introduce Us to Fox's Fall Schedule
Joshua Jackson was up bright and early in NYC yesterday to attend the Fox Upfronts presentation. Fringe has already been renewed for another season but you can check out the full Fall schedule here and get a peek at some of the new shows. Other Fox stars like David Boreanaz and Gordon Ramsay joined in the party — even Kiefer Sutherland came by and made an awkward joke on stage about his arrest last week.
Kiefer and Costars Celebrate 24 Finale
Kiefer Sutherland was full of smiles at the screening for the finale of 24 season seven yesterday, despite his recent troubles. He was joined by costars Cherry Jones, Sprague Grayden, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Elisha Cuthbert, Annie Wersching and Carlos Bernard at the Wadsworth Theater in Los Angeles, as well as this season's baddy Jon Voight. We've got to wait a few weeks until we see the season finale here in the UK.
Kiefer and Brooke's Lawyers Respond to Rumors
Kiefer Sutherland was out in NYC today, looking relaxed despite last week's arrest related to headbutting Jack McCollough, who apparently required surgery last week. Kiefer's lawyers are calling rumors of the incident "untruthful and self-serving," saying that they are confident the NYPD's investigation of the event will find Keifer did nothing wrong. Now Brooke Shields's lawyer is saying all previous statements attributed to her are incorrect, stating, "While at the party she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned.
Kiefer Turns Himself In For Headbutting Incident
Kiefer Sutherland arrived at the police station in NYC yesterday to turn himself in for Monday night's headbutting incident. He was arrested on a third-degree assault charge and is expected to appear to face the misdemeanor. His arraignment is set for June 22.
Kiefer Sutherland Turns Himself In and Is Charged With Assault
Kiefer Sutherland turned himself in to the New York Police Department's 1st Precinct Station in Manhattan yesterday, after allegedly headbutting fashion designer Jack McCollough at a party following Monday's Costume Institute Gala. After being interviewed by investigators, Kiefer was charged with misdemeanour assault (a minor charge apparently similar to a speeding ticket) and ordered to appear in court on 22 June. Police have said they might question Brooke about the incident, while Brooke has apparently admitted to friends she was "jostled" but it was "no big deal", blaming her fall on her high heels.
