The sweet, quirky Juno soundtrack was — much like the movie that spawned it — one of those little indies that could. Filled with songs by the relatively little-known Moldy Peaches and their spinoff projects, the soundtrack shot to the top of the Billboard charts in January. And now, it's getting a sequel!

Here's a piece of news I'm going to tell you "honest to blog:" as of today you can purchase the soundtrack to Juno digitally. The movie itself is very fantastic in so many ways, and one of these is the usage — and selection — of music. From the original music of Kimya Dawson to old favorites by folks like Cat Power, The Kinks, and Sonic Youth (little Sonic Youth inside joke chuckle here for anyone who's seen the movie), the soundtrack isn't just good for a soundtrack — it's also a solid mix.

As you may have heard by now — since one can't throw a hamburger telephone without hitting another Juno lover — there are so many reasons to see Juno and basically no reason not to. So, just how endearing can one movie be? Let me count the ways .

Ellen Page is, frankly, a little intimidating — but in the best way possible. In Juno, the 20-year-old plays one of the most self-assured, forthright young women this side of Angela Chase. In person, she's just as confident when talking about Juno's motivations, the dearth of complex roles for young women, and the emotional connections both she and her character make with music.

Though the initial estimates on Sunday put I Am Legend as the No. 2 movie at the box office this past weekend with $16.4 million and Juno in the No. 3 spot with $16.2, the actual numbers indicate that this order is really reversed!

One of my favourite recent movies – Juno – is released on DVD on Monday, and I'm super-happy I can add it to my collection.
If you didn't catch it at the cinema, it's a warm-hearted film centered on 16 year old Juno Macduff (Ellen Page). She's an uber-hip girl who finds herself pregnant after sleeping with her best friend Bleeker (Michael Cera) and decides to give her baby up for adoption to a perfect couple.

I finally went to see the Golden Globe nominated movie Juno this weekend. Before entering the theater, I knew three things; it was a comedy with a great cast and the main character was a pregnant teenager.
Not only did I love the movie, but also the cast was outstanding.

No Country for Old Men was named best picture and Juno took home the award for best comedy Monday night at the 13th annual Critics' Choice Awards.
No Country also picked up awards for directors Joel and Ethan Coen and star Javier Bardem, who won the Best Supporting Actor category. Juno, meanwhile, got a second award for its screenwriter, Diablo Cody.
