We're just a few days away from the 2010 Oscar nomination announcements — I'll be rising early on Feb. 2 to report who got a nod, but until then, I'm getting my predictions in now. I've already told you who I think will be up for best actor and best actress, and now here's another five I think are worthy of an Academy Award nod: the best supporting actors.
Diane Teases the Basterds, Penelope Gets Punked, & Glee Wins A-List Fans
Backstage at the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Diane Kruger says she is tougher than all the boys she worked with on Inglourious Basterds, the ladies of Nine get playful with Penelope Cruz, and a Glee cast member says Katie Holmes is a friend and fan of the show's stars.
Actors Are Crowned Winners at SAG Awards Show
After the stars walked the red carpet they took their seats for the show to find out who won what at the SAG Awards in LA on Saturday. George Clooney was on presenting duty after hosting the Haiti telethon on Friday night, and several members of the cast of Nine including Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz also took to the stage. Sandra Bullock won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Lead Role accolade and also presented Betty White with a Lifetime Achievement award, while Gabourey Sidibe congratulated her Precious costar Mo'Nique on her Supporting Actress win.
The SAGs Are Full of Glee, Basterds, Betty White and More!
The SAG Awards took over LA's Shine Auditorium Saturday night to honor the year's best acting. Once the posing on the red carpet was finished, the show started right off with the announcement of Alec Baldwin's win in the category of Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series. His costar Tina Fey also took home an Actor statue for her role in 30 Rock, bounding onto the stage with energy despite having had just two hours sleep the evening before.
The Inglourious Basterds Winners Keep Brad in the Loop
The cast of Inglourious Basterds took home the Best Ensemble Cast at this evening's SAGs, and they were soon off for a pit stop in the press room. Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, BJ Novak, Omar Doom, Jacky Ido and Eli Roth were there to talk about their latest honor, though their costar Brad Pitt skipped out on the event. They did, apparently, make sure to keep him in the loop.
Which Cast Are You Hoping to See at the SAGs?
There are just a few hours to go until the action starts at this evening's SAG Awards, and we're hoping the ensemble casts for the films in the running for Best Picture attend together. Nine, Inglourious Basterds, Precious, An Education, and The Hurt Locker are all nominated for the honor, though a few of the big stars, like Brad Pitt and Daniel Day-Lewis, have yet to show up on any red carpets. It would be nice to see everyone out at the same event at least once, so tell us — which cast are you hoping to see at the show?

Last night the People's Choice Awards were held in LA, attracting a huge selection of stars from movies, TV and music! The winners were voted for by the public, and Twilight was a big winner, taking four awards including Favourite Movie! The vampire craze showed up elsewhere as both True Blood and The Vampire Diaries also received awards.

Now that we've dished on my favorite movies of the decade, let's narrow things down a little. 2009 brought another glorious 12 months of movie-watching. As usual, it wasn't all Oscar contenders, but here are my 10 personal favorites of the year.
