Sienna Makes Love, Not War

Sienna was spotted on the set of her new film Hippie Hippie Shake with her "good friend" and "house guest," Rhys Ifans. The two were also caught getting cozy at a wedding over the weekend, so we're not sure how much longer they can deny their romance. Sienna was also sharing peace and love with her co-stars, the Irish actor Cillian Murphy and the indie film darling Max Minghella (son of acclaimed director Anthony Minghella). The trio filmed was seen in central London's Grosvenor Square, re-creating a famous protest from 1968. Lucky for Sienna, this time she got to keep her clothes on!

Sienna Miller was living right up to the title of her movie with her crown of flowers on the set of Hippie Hippie Shake. Yesterday we caught our first glimpse of dark-haired Sienna and today we've officially decided that her blonde locks are a much better look for her. What do you think about her new hair color? Sienna definitely looks like she's ready to spread the peace and love around London. If it weren't for that BlackBerry, we'd almost think we were transported back in time.

As many times as I've seen Sienna Miller with dark hair, she still seems so unrecognizable without her blonde locks. It's been surprising that the little fashionista/fashion designer is missing out on all of NY Fashion Week, but here she is hard at work on the set of Hippie Hippie Shake in London. I'm betting she'll find the time to see some shows at the upcoming Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks - maybe even with her design partner sister by her side. A girl, especially not Sienna, can't resist the runway for too long!

After relaxing on the shores of Ibiza, Sienna Miller got back to work in London. The always stylish actress fumbled her bag as the strap broke off on her walk. Bummer - maybe she and her sister can get to work on designing a more sturdy line of purses? First, though, Sienna is getting ready to start filming again and reading over the script for Hippie Hippie Shake. We bet that retro crocheted sweater helped her get into character.

Sienna wore an adorable animal friendly hoody while taking her own doggies out for a walk in London this week. She seems to be lying pretty low lately, probably because she's just started work on her next film The Best Time of Our Lives after LL bailed on it. She also has gotten signed to star with Cillian Murphy in a film based on writer Richard Neville's life in London at the end of the 60's. It's appropriately called Hippie Hippie Shake. Not much of a stretch from Sienna's role in Factory Girl - she can probably even recycle some of those crazy clothes!

Sienna Miller to "Shake" Like a Hippie

Sienna Miller just can't stay away from the '60s. First she played Andy Warhol's muse Edie Sedwick in Factory Girl, and now she's signed on for the lead in another peace-and-love era film, Hippie Hippie Shake. The movie, which also stars Cillian Murphy, is based on Richard Neville's memoir of the same title about the Oz magazine trial - the longest obscenity trial in British history - and the ultimate end of the swinging '60s era in London.

According to Variety:

The mag was transplanted to London, where Neville and his cohorts became the defendants in the longest obscenity trial in English legal history after a sexually explicit issue aroused the ire of the Obscene Publications Squad. The trial ended with the defendants sentenced to hard labor, but an appeal absolved them, with the provision that they stop publishing the magazine.

Murphy will play Neville; there's no word yet about Miller's character. The two of them also are working on another movie together: The Best Times of Our Lives, in which Miller is now playing the role originally intended for Lindsay Lohan.

Sienna Wins in Court and in Love

Back in London after their Mexican vacation, Sienna and Rhys returned to rainy British weather and to some very good news. Sienna, who had filed a lawsuit against two British newspapers for publishing nude photos of her on the set of Hippie Hippie Shake, won her case - and a $76,000 settlement. She seems pretty content with her win and her man, and as for Rhys, he looks like he accidentally left his sunscreen in the UK during their trip to Mexico. While these two are still in the honeymoon phase, they didn't make the cut for our favorite new couples of 2007.

Sienna Miller Opens Up a Brit for Vogue

Sienna Miller looks every bit the movie star on the December cover of British Vogue. She embodies the "Glamour" theme perfectly, but something about the picture just doesn't look like her. Between filming Hippie Hippie Shake and her active social life, Sienna found time to sit down and chat. The notoriously open star talked about her new London home, her social life, and her friendship with her The Edge of Love costar Keira Knightley. Here’s more:

On her new house: “I want the sitting room to be like the sets in Performance… all red velvet curtains and satin cushions. But I want the kitchen to be French country-house-comfy, and my basement to be a naughty hamman den, all Moroccan tiles with a huge step pool in the middle of the room.”
On Keira: “We both have such mad schedules… but we desperately keep in text!”
On her social life: “The only thing I believe in print these days is the date…I mean, for God’s sake, I’m 25. I’m having a brilliant time, I like to party, and I love to work. I’ve never not shown up to work. I’m always on time. The press love to get pictures of me blinking so they can say how wrecked I am. I can’t win, but I’m not staying in just to satisfy them.”

It sounds like Sienna is an average 25 year old… oh yeah, except for the fame part. Even though she claims not to be a big party girl, she's certainly not afraid to have a little fun, no matter what the photos look like the next day. Maybe with these new movies she'll be as famous for her acting as she is for her social life.
