R&B star Eve as a tough-love choir director? That's what we'll be seeing this Fall on Glee, as the show has booked the singer for a guest arc.
For two episodes, Eve will play a "no-nonsense" director of a girls' choir at a school that rivals McKinley High's ragtag group of misfit singers.

I'm already sold on Glee, so new ads and promotional videos are not going to make me any more anxious for its premiere on Sept. 16. I've reached a saturation point on excitement for this one.

With Fox's Fall schedule announcement this morning, the craziness of network Upfront week is officially under way. In just a second, I'll share videos and photos of the six new Fox shows, but quickly, a few thoughts on the schedule:
- Fringe on Thursdays? Seems risky to me — even if, as Fox's entertainment guru Kevin Reilly pointed out this morning, both Grey's Anatomy and CSI are down this season.

On Tuesday, the world will finally get a glimpse of Fox's new musical show, Glee. While it won't officially be on the schedule till the Fall, Fox will air the first episode on Tuesday after the final performance show of American Idol. I was lucky enough to visit the set of this darkly comedic satire and got some great scoop from the cast.

May is one of the entertainment year's blockbuster months: Big movies swoop into theaters again, TV shows have their season finales, record labels start delivering albums that will be our Summer soundtrack, and networks start getting us excited for the shows that will fill the TV schedule come Fall. So with that in mind, I tried to pick some gems for this month's Must Haves list that could easily get lost in the shuffle without a little extra attention.

If I was excited for Glee after just a few clips and the first episode, I'd say that excitement has now reached DEFCON 1 after visiting the set. I traveled to LA on Wednesday to hang out with the cast of this upcoming Fox comedy from Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy — and lucky for me it was a performance day.
All the actors playing glee club members were on hand to perform their routine to a Queen song (over and over again — oh, the life of an actor).
