There were some great performances at the MTV EMA show last night. I showed you four of my favourites straight after the ceremony, but there were some other amazing performances. Foo Fighters, Green Day, Tokio Hotel and the U2 medley were all fantastic too - check out the videos and vote below to let me know: which MTV EMA act rocked the hardest?

It isn't all glamorous ladies in attendance at the MTV EMAs in Berlin tonight, there are plenty of dashing gents too! Pete Wentz is hosting backstage this year and is rocking some very unique eye makeup, plus there's Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong rocking the look! Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers and Foo Fighters were among those sans eye makeup on the red carpet - check out all the men arriving!

2009 MTV EMA Nominations and Performers Announced!

Having already given us the shortlist for the Best UK & Ireland New Act category, MTV has now announced the full list of nominations for the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards. Tokio Hotel, Green Day and Leona Lewis are all confirmed to perform at the ceremony in Berlin on 5 November too. Lady GaGa and Kings of Leon lead the pack with five nominations each, while several of our British and Irish stars have nominations, including Robbie Williams, Coldplay, U2, La Roux, Pixie Lott, Little Boots and Leona Lewis. You can vote for your favourites and then see all the pictures and find out gossip from backstage when we cover the awards in November. Last year's ceremony was awesome, so I'm looking forward to the the show and the red carpet this year. What do you think of the nominations? See the full list after the jump.

This week on a Thanksgiving episode of Top Chef, the Foo Fighters made a special appearance and award-winning chef and cancer survivor, Grant Achatz, was the guest judge. To discuss the episode (warning: spoilers ahead), read more.

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas have ended their Summer fling. Apparently Joe did the deed over the phone and broke her heart. - US Weekly
Witnesses said Gerard Butler was harassed and followed for hours prior to punching a paparazzi photographer in the face early yesterday morning. The LAPD is currently investigating the allegations. - TMZ
The Foo Fighters have asked John McCain's campaign to stop using their song "My Hero" because it "tarnishes the song." McCain's spokesperson said they have paid the licenses to play this music. - AP
Redmond O'Neal admitted he had a methamphetamine relapse and was ordered by a judge to complete a two-week rehab program in association with the drug bust that occurred at his house last month. - People

2008 MTV EMA Nominations Announced!

The nominations have been announced for the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards, which is taking place on November 6th in Liverpool. Britney Spears, Coldplay and Duffy all lead the table with three nominations each, while acts like Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are also up for gongs. I can't wait to see if the show's as much of a headline-maker as the VMAs!

Leona Lewis and Alicia Keys will fight it out with the main three nominated acts for Best Album, while Most Addictive Track nominees include Katy Perry, Kid Rock and Pink. To take a look at the full list of nominations, just read more.

Chelsy, Dave And Noel Party With... Fergie?

An eccentric mix of celebs turned up to the opening Whisky Mist at Zeta in Mayfair this week, including the nicest man in rock Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters bandmate Taylor Hawkins following their live collaboration with members of Led Zeppelin at the weekend. Sarah Ferguson aka Fergie also attended the party, as well as potential Royal Chelsy Davy, best known as Prince Harry's other half.

Noel Fielding was drawing attention again in a bright red shirt and the most hardcore of the Backstreet Boys – AJ McLean – also stopped by after finishing his cigarette outside. What a great random mix of celebs!
