It's been six years since Dawson's Creek was on the air, and the four main stars — Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson, and James van der Beek — have come a long way in their careers and grown up a lot. Yesterday, Tom Kapinos, the former show runner for the series who now works on Californication, had not-so-nice things to say about his experience on Dawson's, saying among other things, "It was the four monstrous actors at the core of it." It's pretty much ancient history, and there's one Oscar nominee among them, so what do you think about Kapinos's quote — mean or funny?

Joshua Jackson looks pretty mellow while describing something large in LA this weekend. Judging from his upcoming projects (or lack thereof) he's got some time on his hands to just chill out. In my head, at least, he's talking about his time back on the creek, a particularly hilarious outtake perhaps?

Some of you may try to tell me that Joshua Jackson isn't really a celebrity worth writing about anymore. And to you, I say: There are reruns of Dawson's Creek on TBS every morning. Try and tell me that isn't reason enough to pretend like Pacey Witter is not only a real person, but has a gorgeous girlfriend he's toting around Paris London.

Sometimes it's still hard to believe that Michelle Williams was once Jen Lindley on Dawson's Creek. She's completely broken out of that mold with her ongoing string of indie films like Wendy and Lucy and Synecdoche, New York, and now comes yet another dark choice to add to her resume.
Williams stars opposite Gael Garcia Bernal in the upcoming drama, Mammoth, which follows a young family whose world begins to crumble after a few bad decisions.

One of my favorite websites is Texts From Last Night, which compiles all of your hilarious, regrettable, embarrassing, and TMI texts from, well, the night before (that is after you or someone else submits them). The site is so popular it not only has its own BlackBerry app, but it's coming to the boob tube. That's right, a TFLN show will be written by Steve Holland and produced by Sony TV and Happy Madison and will air on the Fox network.

The stars of Showtime, the CW, and CBS came together at their TCA party in Pasadena last night. The Huntington Library was bursting with celebrities from all three networks who mixed and mingled at the gorgeous venue. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz looked perfectly petite in her sexy dress as she told us about how well-behaved Bronx is these days.

Summery white was the color of choice for both Mariah Carey and Michelle Williams at the Fresh Air Fund's Salute to American Heroes event in NYC last night. Mariah arrived on the arm of her husband Nick Cannon, while Michelle was rolling solo as Spike Jonze finishes work on Where the Wild Things Are over in London. Michelle rightfully didn't look bothered by the unkind words recently uttered by the former show runner of Dawson's Creek as she celebrated a charitable evening with friends.
