Last week there came news that Callum Blue has joined the cast of Smallville in the role of the villainous General Zod. Blue will play the young version of Superman's future arch-nemesis in the upcoming ninth season. Not long after this news broke, rumors started circulating about a possible Smallville movie (on TV) slated for Dec.

It's becoming more common these days to take a popular TV show with a built-in fan base and develop it for the big screen. It worked well for Sex and the City, and some people think that it would be similarly successful for Gossip Girl. Even Leighton Meester says so: "A Gossip Girl movie could be compared to a Sex and the City-type of movie.

Just as Fox did earlier this week, the CW has announced its Fall premiere dates and schedule, with a few interesting tweaks from last season. Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill are swapping places on Mondays — One Tree Hill takes the 8:00 p.m. slot with Gossip Girl airing at 9:00 p.m.

I'm not happy to see any of my favorite shows end for the season, but tonight's Reaper finale is particularly poignant, as the show was not picked up by the CW for another season and several of the show's people have already signed on for new things (including Tyler Labine and the show's creators Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters). All is not totally lost, though, as there's talk of possibly continuing the show on ABC. Anyway, I have absolutely loved this season — perhaps even more than the first — as we've gotten to know Sam's half-brother Morgan (the ever-dashing/sleazy Armie Hammer) and Ben's demon girlfriend Nina (Jenny Wade).

We still have one more episode (tonight!) left to Gossip Girl's second season, and then we will have spent two whole seasons following "the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite." In the first season we were learning what this world of rich Upper East Siders and hip Brooklynites was all about, and season two held even more outrageous plotlines and (usually) enviable fashion. I can't wait to catch tonight's finale, but in the meantime, tell me: What have you thought of Gossip Girl's sophomore season?

Basically I just want an excuse to post the funny promo for tonight's episode of Reaper because it makes me laugh every darn time I watch it. Though it's a little silly at times, the writing on this show consistently cracks me up. Like in last week's episode when we learned Sock's (Tyler Labine) "signature" pick-up line: "Excuse me, I think you're standing on my penis."

Speak of the Devil! No, seriously. Ray Wise brilliantly plays the Devil on the out-of-this-world CW comedy Reaper and I recently got to chat with him one-on-one which, you might imagine, was a little bit intimidating at first.

It feels like it's been an eternity in hell since we last got to hang out with the Devil, Sam, Sock, Andi and Ben. Have you missed them as much as I have?
Last we heard on Reaper, Tony tried to trap Sam — only to bury alive Sam's dad instead.

Casting rumors about the new Gossip Girl spinoff swirled earlier today and now we've got some confirmation: Brittany Snow has been offered the role of young Lily!
We already knew Krysten Ritter would be playing her older sister, and in addition to finding Lily, the show's creators also cast Shiloh Fernandez as Owen, "a hot Valley punk guy with a caustic wit." Here's a new rundown of the show's plot from The Hollywood Reporter:
Overnight, Lily has to transition from a life of luxury and education at a wealthy Montecito boarding school to living deep in the San Fernando Valley she once made fun of and going to public school.

This week's episode of Privileged really is all about confessions! Big reveal-y ones, too, from Charlie to Megan, from Rose to Zach (and Zach to Rose!), from a strange blond woman to Rose, and from Sage to a Catholic priest. Lots going on this week in lush Palm Beach — and none of it has to do with Megan's family.
